From compact European campervans to expedition rigs and truck-based luxury coaches, these 15 motorhomes show how differently a home on wheels can be designed. The selection spans distinct travel styles rather than ranking unlike vehicles: some prioritize off-road equipment, others bespoke layouts, long-term comfort or sheer scale. Manufacturer descriptions establish the features below; they are not independent road-test findings, and a vehicle’s specifications and availability can vary by model year and market.
Off-road and expedition motorhomes
1. Hymer Venture S
Designed by Hymer for two-person travel, the Venture S pairs all-wheel drive and a reinforced chassis with features that make its interior feel less like a conventional van: a panoramic window, fold-out sun lounge and pneumatic pop-up roof. Hymer’s UK page lists a starting length of 645 cm and a technically permissible maximum laden mass from 4,100 kg; these figures are specific to the UK listing and configuration. The manufacturer says the model received the German Design Award 2023, the European Innovation Award 2023 in Exterior Design and an iF Design Award 2023.
2. Action Mobil expedition builds
Action Mobil’s model list includes the Global XRS 7400 Leopard 2.0, Temet 6000, Globecruiser 5300, Atacama 4000, Outback 5100 and Atacama 6000. The company describes its vehicles as 4×4 motorhomes and lists options such as a hydraulic elevating roof, extendable bed and motorcycle lift. Those additions point toward travelers building a rig around a specific expedition and cargo need, rather than choosing a single standard layout. Action Mobil says it has built 4×4 motorhomes since 1979; that date is the company’s own account.
Luxury coach living
3. Concorde Centurion
Concorde positions the Centurion as its premium flagship, offered in integrated and partially integrated designs. It is the pick to investigate if your idea of motorhome travel involves a large coach format and an upscale living space, rather than a compact vehicle for narrow roads. Compare the specific floor plan and vehicle dimensions with the places you intend to travel; a flagship label alone does not tell you whether a particular coach suits your route.

- Superior Wind Resistance: BougeRV multi-point fastening system combining built-in heavy-duty holding strips and sturdy hook-and-loop fasteners around mirrors helps keep the cover securely in place in windy conditions
- Compact Storage and Care: BougeRV motorhome windshield sun shade folds neatly into a compact size for easy storage. Do not machine wash
4. Concorde Liner
The Liner range also aims at high-end coach living, with Concorde emphasizing equipment and the use of interior space. It sits within a broader lineup that includes Cruiser Atego, Cruiser Daily, Charisma, Carver and Credo, so prospective buyers can compare several families rather than treating one model as the company’s only answer to luxury touring.

5. Dembell
Dembell’s design language draws on yacht interiors and exterior styling. The company says Pininfarina collaborated on the Silhouette and Horizon exterior designs, and it describes a 24/7 concierge service. These are Dembell’s design and service claims, not independent measures of quality or performance. Co-founder Gábor Filó describes the company’s approach as a drive to create “a better, a more exciting solution” and to raise standards; the statement reflects his view of the design philosophy.
Bespoke motorhomes built around a use case
6. RS Motorhomes Evolution
RS describes the Evolution as a luxury coach. For a buyer who wants a coach-style vehicle but has a particular idea of how it should work, the appeal is the opportunity to discuss a bespoke build rather than assume every owner needs the same interior.
7. RS Motorhomes Envoy
RS says its Envoy builds can be individually specified for uses such as motorsports and round-the-world expeditions. Its examples of bespoke adaptations include layouts for customers with disabilities, storage for sports equipment, and different bed or bathroom sizes. These are manufacturer-described possibilities; confirm the feasible specification, costs and delivery details directly with RS.

North American Super C scale and towing
8. Renegade Villagio
Renegade’s official page lists a 2027 Villagio at 25 ft 6 in with a 4,200 lb towing capacity. That makes it a useful point of comparison within the brand’s Super C lineup, but the posted figure is a model-year specification, not a guarantee for every configuration or towed load. Check the selected coach’s ratings and the limits of the vehicle being towed before planning a combination.
9. Renegade Vienna
Vienna is one of the model families on Renegade’s current lineup page. The listing establishes its place in the range, but no comparable Vienna dimension or towing capacity is published. Consult the current model-year specification for the exact floor plan under consideration.
10. Renegade Valencia
Valencia is another listed Renegade Super C family. Its individual dimensions, capacities and floor-plan details should be checked on the live manufacturer page rather than inferred from another Renegade model.

Renegade lists Veracruz alongside its other Super C families. As with the other lineup entries, make a model-to-model comparison using current specifications for the chosen year and configuration.
12. Renegade Verona and Verona LE
Renegade lists Verona and Verona LE as separate models. That distinction matters when comparing floor plans and specifications: do not assume a figure posted for one automatically applies to the other.
13. Renegade Explorer and Explorer TS
Explorer and Explorer TS appear as separate entries in the manufacturer’s lineup. Their names identify families, not a shared set of dimensions or capacities; check each model’s current specification before comparing them.
14. Renegade Classic
Classic is another option in Renegade’s truck-based range. The manufacturer’s current page is the appropriate place to confirm its model-year equipment, dimensions and towing rating.

la strada NOVA
The NOVA is one of la strada’s three series. Its listed lengths are 6.46 m and 6.99 m, giving shoppers two size points to compare within that series. A length figure is only one part of the fit: check the actual plan, sleeping arrangement and vehicle mass for the version sold in your market.
la strada REGENT
REGENT is listed at 5.99 m, making it the shortest stated length among the la strada series described here. That can be relevant when maneuverability or parking space is a priority, but length alone does not establish interior usability or access to every destination.
la strada AVANTI
AVANTI includes layouts such as 6.36 m models. The company references an AVANTI Edition 40 innovation award and shows a 2027 model-year floor plan. Model-year information and dealer availability are market-dependent, so verify the specific edition and floor plan before treating it as locally available. Across NOVA, REGENT and AVANTI, la strada lists 14 floor plans and provides dealer/service-partner information and configurators.

Compare la strada series, floor plans and dealers.
How to choose what is worth seeing
- Start with the trip. Decide whether you need a compact touring vehicle, a long-term luxury coach, a bespoke motorsport base or a 4×4 expedition build. The right comparison is between vehicles intended for similar travel, not between the shortest van and the largest coach.
- Match terrain to equipment. If off-road travel is central, ask about the specific drivetrain and chassis equipment. All-wheel drive or a 4×4 description is not a substitute for checking the complete vehicle configuration and its limits.
- Check dimensions and mass for the exact version. Length and towing figures vary by model and year. Also confirm payload, legal driving-licence requirements, campground access and the towing limits that apply where you will use the vehicle.
- Compare the actual sleeping and living layout. Ask how many people the specific floor plan accommodates and whether storage, bed, bathroom or accessibility needs can be met. Bespoke-build possibilities should be confirmed with the manufacturer.
- Check local ownership realities. Price, fuel use, service coverage, warranty support and country availability are not established on a comparable basis across these brands. Get current, market-specific answers from the manufacturer or local dealer.
- Arrange a viewing where possible. A floor plan or brochure cannot show how a vehicle feels to move through. Sunliner explicitly offers viewings; Hymer offers configuration, RS invites bespoke-build inquiries, and la strada lists dealers and service partners.
