The Verge TS Pro has the highest current manufacturer-claimed range among the motorcycles in this comparison: up to 370 miles with its 33.3 kWh long-range battery. A March 2026 ranking put it at 373 miles, but Verge’s current US and UK pages say 370. These are advertised maximum city-range figures, not promises of highway or everyday range—and one bike in the ranking is an off-road model measured by trail use.

Electric motorcycles with the longest reported range

The table follows TYCORUN’s March 12, 2026 ranking, which orders motorcycles by reported maximum city range. Those figures are not a controlled, like-for-like test, and manufacturer confirmation was not available for every model. Treat the unverified entries as reported advertised maximums, not independently established specifications or guaranteed current purchase options.

Rank Motorcycle Reported maximum range Reported battery Important qualification
1 Verge TS Pro Up to 370 mi (595 km) 20.2 kWh standard-range or 33.3 kWh long-range Verge currently claims up to 370 miles for the larger pack; TYCORUN reported 373 miles.
2 Energica Experia 261 mi (420 km) 22.5 kWh TYCORUN distinguishes about 153 miles of highway range. Energica’s technology page lists 420 km city range, but does not establish current Experia availability.
3 Lightning LS-218 255 mi (410 km) 20 kWh upgrade Range and current availability were not confirmed against a manufacturer source.
4 Hush Superior GT 248 mi (399 km) 24–25 kWh Range and current availability were not confirmed against a manufacturer source.
5 Zero SR/S 227 mi (365 km) 20.9 kWh in the ranking Zero’s current European page lists 251 km city range, or 322 km with the Power Tank; market and configuration differ.
6 Ultraviolette F77 200 mi (322 km) 10.3 kWh Range, market and variant were not confirmed against a manufacturer source.
7 Arc Vector 200 mi (322 km) 16.8 kWh Range and current availability were not confirmed against a manufacturer source.
8 Evoke Urban Classic 150 mi (241 km) 7.5–9 kWh Range and current availability were not confirmed against a manufacturer source.
9 LiveWire S2 Del Mar 110 mi (177 km) 10.5 kWh The ranking figure was not independently checked against LiveWire’s current specifications.
10 Stark VARG EX 62 mi (100 km)* 7.2 kWh *TYCORUN describes this as combined trail range, approximately six hours of riding. It is an off-road estimate, not a road-bike city or highway range.

What the manufacturer figures confirm

Verge TS Pro: 370 miles with the larger battery

Verge’s US page claims up to 217 miles with the 20.2 kWh pack and up to 370 miles with the 33.3 kWh pack. It lists up to 200 kW NACS fast charging and says the larger-battery version can add up to 186 miles in under ten minutes. Verge lists a US starting price of $29,900 and estimates TS Pro deliveries in the US and EU for Q4 2026. These are manufacturer claims and estimates, not independently verified results or confirmed delivery outcomes. Its UK page also claims up to 370 miles.

Zero SR/S: the market and battery configuration change the number

Zero’s European SR/S page lists 251 km of city range, rising to 322 km with the Power Tank, and gives a 60-minute optimal charge time. These are European-page figures and should not be conflated with the 227-mile entry in TYCORUN’s ranking, which lists a different battery configuration.

Energica: a technology-page figure is not proof of current model stock

Energica’s technology page lists a 21.5/22.5 kWh lithium-polymer battery, 420 km city range, CCS Combo Level 3 compatibility and a 0–80% DC charge in under 40 minutes. That page describes technology; it does not establish that a particular Experia is currently available to buy.

How to compare electric motorcycle range fairly

A maximum city-range figure is most useful as a starting point, not a prediction for every ride. City, highway and trail use impose different demands, and the bikes in this list are designed for different jobs: touring, commuting, sport riding and off-road riding are not interchangeable categories.

  • Match the range basis to your route. Look for separate city and highway figures where available. Sustained high-speed riding can use energy differently from stop-and-go urban travel; do not substitute a city maximum for a highway estimate.
  • Check the exact battery and variant. The Verge and Zero examples show how much the stated maximum can depend on battery configuration. Confirm the model year, trim and market on the maker’s page or with a dealer.
  • Account for riding conditions. TYCORUN identifies speed, rider and luggage load, battery temperature, tire pressure and terrain as factors affecting range. Their direction is useful, but the specific percentage effects sometimes quoted for these factors should not be treated as universal guarantees.
  • Consider charging access and rate. A large range claim may matter less than whether your route has compatible charging and how long a stop takes. Compare the charging standard and conditions behind any charging-time claim, not just the peak rate.
  • Verify availability before planning a purchase. A model’s appearance in a ranking does not confirm that it is currently sold in your country or that the listed battery and range are offered there.

For basic upkeep, check tire pressure against the motorcycle maker’s recommendation; under-inflation can reduce efficiency. It is sensible maintenance, not a guaranteed range increase.

What range should you expect in everyday riding?

The figures above do not establish real-world range for a particular rider or route. The ranking largely gives maximum city claims, while its Energica entry includes a separate highway estimate and its Stark VARG EX entry uses trail riding. Without a common test procedure and matched conditions, those figures cannot be used to predict how far every bike will travel at highway speed, in cold weather, with luggage or over rough terrain.

Use the advertised number to shortlist motorcycles, then seek a range estimate for your intended use from the manufacturer or dealer. Ask whether it reflects city or highway riding, which battery is fitted, and what conditions were assumed. A smaller, route-matched estimate is more useful for trip planning than an unqualified maximum.

UK market context

Battery-electric motorcycles remain a small share of new motorcycle registrations in the UK. New Automotive reported just under 3,500 battery-electric motorcycle registrations, or 3.2%, in 2024, down from 3,751, or 3.5%, in 2023. These are UK registration figures, not worldwide sales.
