The available evidence does not verify a complete ten-bike ranking for 2024. What it does confirm are U.S. manufacturer MSRPs for two Yamaha naked bikes and a Suzuki naked sportbike. The clearest low-price example is the 2024 Yamaha MT-03 at $4,999 MSRP; that is a model-year 2024 price, not a current 2026 quote.
What the verified 2024 prices show
These figures are manufacturer-published U.S. prices, not dealer quotes or out-the-door totals. MSRP can differ from what a buyer ultimately pays, and the Suzuki page separately displayed destination and freight charges.

Why this is not a ten-bike cheapest-to-priciest list
The Motorcyclist page titled “Most Affordable (and Cheap) Naked Bikes 2024,” by Andrew Cherney and dated August 15, 2024, is accessible only as a headline and introductory deck here; its article body does not establish the ten models, their order, or the price method. The available manufacturer evidence also does not establish a consistently priced field of ten U.S.-market 2024 naked motorcycles. A search result identified Kawasaki’s 2024 Z500 ABS as a naked motorcycle, but the product page could not be opened to verify its price; it therefore cannot be placed in a price ranking. - Use the MT-03’s $4,999 figure as a historical 2024 U.S. MSRP reference, not a claim about current inventory or 2026 pricing.
- Compare published MSRPs on the same basis. The Suzuki’s $11,699 figure is its base MSRP; its page separately listed charges, while the Yamaha figures are stated as MSRP.
- Ask a dealer for a written out-the-door quote before comparing actual purchase costs. The manufacturer figures above do not establish dealer pricing, taxes, registration, or the buyer’s final total.
