How to judge the sound before you buy
- Identify the exact version. Confirm model year, engine, trim, and whether the exhaust is factory-standard. A generic model name or a modified video may not represent the car you are considering.
- Listen under comparable conditions. Compare cold starts, idle, acceleration, and higher-rpm driving where possible. Recording equipment and surroundings affect what a video conveys.
- Test-drive the actual car. Cabin sound, road noise, and exhaust volume can feel different in person than they do in an exterior recording.
