Everything below describes that 2021 picture. The most recent company material covered here is dated 2025, and it does not establish current cities, customers or prices.
What Zoomo announced in March 2021
Zoomo’s company announcement, dated March 5, 2021, said the company had secured $12 million with AirTree Ventures leading the round. How the subscription model worked
Zoomo’s offer started with delivery workers. The company said it first built its products for gig workers in food delivery, and it later extended the platform to enterprise fleets. TechCrunch reported that its rider offer used weekly subscriptions, with discounts tied to partnerships with Uber Eats and DoorDash. Corporate partners in Australia, the United States and London paid monthly subscriptions.

Servicing, financing and fleet management
The company’s pitch depended on bundling rather than the bike alone. Its announcement listed same-day servicing and anti-theft technology as part of the fleet offer, along with financing and fleet management. AirTree’s Jackie Vullinghs framed the full stack as the reason enterprises could move to lower-carbon delivery without managing each component separately.

TechCrunch described continental Europe and additional US states as intended expansion areas. Those were plans in 2021, not confirmed launches.

Customers named in 2021
The announcement named Cornucopia, Gorillas and Just Eat Takeaway as enterprise customers, and it described ongoing rider partnerships with Uber Eats and DoorDash. A Just Eat Takeaway spokesperson said the company was pleased to work with Zoomo on its electric vehicles, which the spokesperson called an integral part of its Scoober model. Those relationships are documented as of 2021; the sources do not show whether any of them continue.

The announcement also cited a potential 75 percent reduction in CO2 emissions, attributed to research the company did not name or date. Treat it as Zoomo’s claim, not an independently verified result.

Zoomo’s help article dated August 18, 2025 is the most recent product-level description available. It states that a subscription includes:
- a Zoomo bike;
- a battery with charger;
- keys;
- a phone holder;
- a lock.
The same article says monthly maintenance checks are required, normal wear and tear is covered, and damage beyond normal use is the rider’s responsibility. It does not state prices, and these terms may vary by location or change over time.
What has changed since 2021, and what has not been established
Zoomo’s newsroom lists later company announcements through May 2025, including updates involving Uber Eats in France and DoorDash in Toronto. Those posts show that the company kept announcing partnerships after the 2021 round. They do not establish current service availability, current fleet size or whether any 2021 customer relationship continues.
For a reader evaluating a subscription fleet today, the 2021 round is a historical marker rather than a current offer. Before relying on any of the details above, confirm the following directly with the provider:
