Ziggymoto’s Shapeshift 3 imagines what that might look like, but it remains a design concept—not a verified, built-and-tested motorcycle.
What is Ziggymoto’s Shapeshift 3?
Shapeshift 3 is a speculative motorcycle design discussed by Loz Blain in New Atlas on December 17, 2023. Blain describes it as “pure design fantasy”; the article does not report a completed build or a ride test. Its significance is as an exploration of a shape-shifting motorcycle, not as a production model or proven machine.

How would the concept change between motorcycle styles?
The proposal goes beyond moving a rider’s hands and feet. The design depicts adjustments to the swingarm, footpegs, handlebars, and seat, along with changes to components mounted at the front. Together, those alterations are intended to change the bike’s appearance and potentially its geometry, while also shifting the rider’s posture.
The illustrated forms include sport or café-racer, cruiser, adventure, and dirtbike looks. Those labels describe the concept’s visual modes; they do not establish that it can function safely or ride properly in each one.

#1 Best Overall
- Two wheels don't just carry you forward. They remind you who you are. This Chopper motorcycle model captures that feeling—a tribute to the freedom that lives beyond the road.
- Electroplating painted parts reflect more than light. They reflect the soul of classic bikes. It’s the shine that belongs in every garage and every rider’s memory.
- The low frame and tall handlebars say one thing: this motorcycle has attitude. Every curve and angle was shaped for those who ride to stand apart, not blend in.
- Features a V-type engine with moving pistons. Turn the wheels and see the pistons move. In that motion, the spirit of the motorbike comes to life.
- It’s a gift that speaks without words. For those who hear engines like poetry and see chrome as a badge of belief, this is something worth holding onto.
What remains unproven?
The New Atlas article raises questions about whether the depicted mechanical ideas would work, rather than reporting answers from testing. Blain notes that the forks appear more or less rigid, questions whether the proposed tire construction would wear well, and says he assumes the configurations would not ride properly. These are the author’s observations, not engineering test results.
No safety assessment, performance figures, or evidence of a rideable prototype is established in the article. Whether Ziggymoto has built a working version since then is also unresolved by that source, so the concept should not be treated as available to buy or as a tested motorcycle.

How does it compare with a more limited adjustable-bike idea?
Blain cites Damon Motorcycles’ electric Hypersport as an earlier, narrower approach: its ergonomics could be adjusted by moving the handlebars and footpegs between sport and commuter positions. That example concerns rider-position adjustment. Shapeshift 3 proposes a broader transformation involving the motorcycle’s overall geometry and appearance, but the comparison does not validate Ziggymoto’s design.
