Alpine has included the United States in a broad plan to expand its brand internationally, and it is developing a new A110. But the official announcements reviewed do not confirm that the A110 will be sold in the U.S., or give it a U.S. launch date. The current, second-generation A110 is no longer in production; any American arrival would concern its successor.
Has Alpine confirmed the A110 for the United States?
No. Alpine’s official statements support two separate points: the company once named the U.S. as a market for broader brand expansion, and it is developing a next-generation A110. They do not connect those points with a model-specific announcement that the A110 will go on sale in America.
In a 2023 strategy announcement, Alpine said a global expansion phase would begin from 2027 and named the USA among markets its future lineup would address. That was a broad brand plan, not confirmation that the A110 would be part of the U.S. lineup. The statement also does not establish U.S. certification, retailers, pricing, or delivery timing. That distinction matters: a target market for a brand is not the same as a confirmed model launch. The available official material does not prove Alpine will never bring the A110 to the U.S.; it simply does not confirm that it will.

What is happening to the current A110?
The second-generation A110 has finished production. Alpine said in October 2025 that the run would end in mid-2026. Renault Group’s April 2026 results release said production would cease that summer, and Alpine announced on July 1, 2026, that the final car had rolled off the line. Alpine’s October 2025 announcement · Renault Group’s Q1 2026 results · Alpine’s July 2026 production update
Alpine had planned a final production run of 1,750 second-generation cars, according to its October 2025 announcement. Renault Group reported 545 A110s sold in Q1 2026; that is a quarterly sales figure, not the number produced in the final run. Alpine’s July 2026 update said 35,450 A110s had been built since 1969, including 28,701 second-generation cars. These figures describe different things—planned final-run volume, quarterly sales and cumulative production—so they should not be treated as interchangeable.

What is known about the next-generation A110?
Alpine is developing a third-generation A110 as an electric sports car. Its October 2025 announcement said the car would be based on the Alpine High Performance Electric Platform and that “The third generation of the Alpine A110 will be introduced next year.” That was the timing stated in the 2025 release; it is not a U.S. launch promise or a guarantee of subsequent deliveries. Alpine’s A110 announcement
In March 2026, Alpine identified its Alpine Performance Platform (APP) as the basis for future electric sports cars. The announcement describes the company’s platform strategy, but does not provide final production specifications or establish that the next A110 will meet U.S. regulatory requirements. What would need to be confirmed before calling it a U.S. launch?
A U.S. market ambition would be only one part of the story. A confirmed A110 launch would require model-specific information that the cited announcements do not supply, including whether Alpine plans to sell the car in the country, its regulatory status, and when and where customers could buy it.
- Brand expansion: Alpine’s 2023 plan named the USA as a future market for its lineup.
- Model development: Alpine is developing a new, electric A110.
- U.S. availability: The official statements cited here do not confirm a sale, certification, U.S. pricing, retail locations, or a launch date for this model.
Until Alpine makes a model-specific U.S. announcement, the accurate answer to “Will the Alpine A110 be sold in the US?” is: it is possible, but not confirmed by the official material cited here.
