When did Carlos Sainz and Rebecca Donaldson start dating?
Sainz and Donaldson were first publicly spotted together in Milan in June 2023. They were later photographed together on a golf course in Amsterdam, prompting wider reports that they were a couple.
Their relationship has generally remained private. Donaldson has nevertheless appeared at several race weekends to support Sainz, while the pair have occasionally shared photographs together. They were still together as of August 9, 2026, and appeared publicly at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
That timeline matters because some online reports have incorrectly placed the start of their relationship in 2024. The better-supported public timeline begins with the June 2023 sighting in Milan.

Donaldson has become a recognizable presence in Sainz’s F1 circle. She has supported him at races during his time with Ferrari and Williams, including after his podium at the 2023 Mexican Grand Prix and following his retirement at the 2025 Australian Grand Prix.
She is also associated with the wider social circle of F1 partners, including Alexandra Leclerc and Carmen Montero Mundt. Her appearances at paddock events and fashion occasions have made her familiar to fans, but her public profile predates her relationship with Sainz through her modeling and business work.

How old is Rebecca Donaldson?
Her exact age should be treated cautiously because publicly available records do not agree. The South China Morning Post reported a date of July 24, 1995, while Companies House lists her birth month and year as July 1994.
Because of that discrepancy, it is more accurate not to state a definitive age or exact date of birth unless Donaldson or her representatives provide a direct confirmation.

Sainz joked in a 2025 interview that he might marry Donaldson in Las Vegas. The remark was presented as a joke rather than an engagement announcement. His father, Carlos Sainz Sr., also discussed marriage and starting a family when asked about the couple in 2025, but neither Sainz nor Donaldson confirmed an engagement.
Accordingly, reports calling Donaldson Sainz’s wife or fiancée go beyond the verified public information available as of August 9, 2026.
