Why older pages name different Primm casinos
The exhibit has moved among properties in Primm, which explains why older directions do not agree. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Gary Primm bought the car in 1988 and that it was displayed at Whiskey Pete’s. During the COVID-19 period it moved to the Primm Mall entrance and later to Buffalo Bill’s; the newspaper found it at Buffalo Bill’s in March 2024 (Review-Journal, March 19, 2024). The Nevada Independent had also reported a move from Whiskey Pete’s to Buffalo Bill’s in December 2022 (The Nevada Independent, December 2022).

Those names describe earlier display locations. The later Sun photograph places the car at Primm Valley Resort on July 22, 2026, but none of these dated reports establishes where inside the property it is now or whether visitors can see it.
Which car the question refers to
“Bonnie and Clyde’s car” usually means the vehicle associated with their final ambush, rather than one of the other cars the pair used. The FBI says officers ambushed Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow near Sailes in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, on May 23, 1934; its account says they were in an automobile and officers opened fire as they tried to leave (FBI history of the case).

- Shrink-wrapped
The Primm exhibit shown in the 2026 photograph is identified as a 1934 Ford V8. The historical account identifies the ambush vehicle as an automobile, while the photograph caption identifies the displayed car; together, these are the basis for referring to it as the death car.

The strongest recent evidence is the July 22, 2026 photograph at Primm Valley Resort. A Roadtrippers visitor review dated July 11, 2026 says the reviewer found an empty case and believed the casinos were closed (Roadtrippers listing). That is an individual report from before the resort’s reopening photograph; it does not establish current resort operations or visitor access.
