SlashGear’s February 7, 2025 coverage describes the vehicle as appearing to be a 1962 Lincoln Continental. That is the specific model identification available in reporting on the commercial, so “appears to be” is the careful wording—not a confirmed production detail from WeatherTech.
What the commercial is selling
The convertible is part of a floor-mat demonstration, not a car advertisement. As the passengers drop tea and cookie crumbs, the mats illustrate the protective role WeatherTech is promoting. iSpot’s listing likewise describes the classic convertible and the spill-and-crumbs setup.
