Westfalia’s Club Joker Urban is a compact camper based on the second-generation Ford Transit Custom and was presented at CMT 2024 as an alternative to the Ford Nugget. The launch-era report describes seating for four to six and four sleeping berths, with a side-mounted kitchen rather than the Nugget’s rear-kitchen arrangement. Its reported €79,750 price applied to the vehicle shown at the 2024 show; it is not a confirmed current price.
What is the Westfalia Club Joker Urban?
The Club Joker Urban is one of two new Transit Custom leisure MPVs Westfalia announced in February 2024, alongside the Kelsey. Westfalia said the models were presented at CMT in Stuttgart, with a market launch in France and planned availability through partner dealers. Westfalia’s announcement confirms the model name, Ford chassis and show presentation, but does not establish current sales or dealer stock.
New Atlas reported the vehicle as a prototype at CMT 2024. Its detailed dimensions, equipment and engine choices below describe that launch-era vehicle, not necessarily a current production specification. New Atlas’s January 2024 report is the source for those details.
How is the layout different from the Ford Nugget?
The Club Joker Urban puts its kitchen block along the driver’s side, beside the rear seating area. The Ford Nugget uses a rear-kitchen layout, according to the launch-era comparison. Westfalia’s side kitchen leaves a different arrangement of living and seating space, so buyers should compare the floor plans rather than assume the models share the same interior.

Two to four rear seats are fitted on floor rails, and the front seats bring total occupant capacity to four to six. The Nugget is a separate model line: Ford describes its Transit Custom Nugget as a multi-zone camper developed with Westfalia. Ford’s later announcement discusses Nugget Active, long-wheelbase, plug-in hybrid and all-wheel-drive options; it does not establish that those variants are available for the Club Joker Urban. Ford’s Nugget information applies to the Nugget, not the Urban.
Does the Club Joker Urban sleep four?
Yes. New Atlas reported two beds and four berths:
- Pop-up roof bed: 205 × 127 cm.
- Lower fold-out bed: 190 × 112 cm, behind the rear seats.
Those are the dimensions reported for the CMT prototype. They indicate the nominal sleeping surfaces, but do not by themselves establish how comfortable either bed is for a particular occupant.

What equipment and dimensions were reported?
The kitchen equipment listed in the launch report includes a single-burner stove, sink, drawers and a slide-out Dometic CFX compressor fridge accessible from inside or outside. The exact CFX model was not specified. Other reported equipment includes dimmable LED lighting, a control touchscreen, an Eberspächer heater, two 95-Ah leisure batteries, a 25-litre fresh-water tank and a 15-litre waste-water tank.
New Atlas gave the prototype’s overall length as 505 cm (199 inches). Its January 2024 report also listed a 2.0-litre EcoBlue engine rated at 134 hp with a six-speed manual, or an optional 168-hp EcoBlue with an eight-speed automatic. These are launch-era report details, not verified current ordering specifications.

What did it cost, and is it available now?
New Atlas reported a base price of €79,750 including VAT for the camper in its CMT 2024 configuration. That is a historical show-era figure, not a current quote, and it does not establish present pricing in any country. Westfalia’s announcement mentioned a French market launch and planned partner-dealer availability, but the available information does not confirm whether the Urban is currently sold or stocked in a particular market.
