On September 17, 2026, Motorsport.com reported that Norris was seen driving the F40 in London, describing the sighting as confirmation that it had returned to the road. That establishes the car was back in use; it does not detail the repairs or establish that every part had been restored to its pre-crash condition.

The Ferrari F40 is a rare supercar. Motorsport.com reported in 2026 that Ferrari produced 1,311 examples between 1987 and 1992. Top Gear described production as a little over 1,300. These figures are media reports, not an independently verified count against Ferrari records.
