Warner Bros. Discovery licensed a run of ten full-size, drivable replicas of the Tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy. The reported starting price was $2.99 million each. These are newly built replicas—not the film-used original—and they are not street legal. As of October 8, 2026, Uncrate’s listing showed the offer as sold out.
What Warner Bros. is selling
The vehicle is the Tumbler, the tank-like Batmobile from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy. Warner Bros. Discovery licensed a limited run of ten full-size replicas, built by Action Vehicle Engineering, according to The Drive’s 2024 report and Architectural Digest’s coverage. They are recreations, not original production vehicles used in filming.
How much does the Dark Knight Tumbler cost?
The reported starting price was $2.99 million per replica. Uncrate’s listing displayed a price of $2,990,000 when accessed on October 8, 2026. That is the listed vehicle price; the available sources do not establish total ownership costs such as insurance, taxes, or delivery charges.
What are the replica’s specifications?
The Drive reported dimensions of 183 inches long, 111 inches wide, and 60 inches high, with a weight of 5,511 pounds. Its reported powertrain is a General Motors 6.2-liter LS3 V8 rated at 525 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque, sending power to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The tubular frame is described as aeronautical-grade steel; body materials include Kevlar, carbon fiber, fiberglass, and steel.

Reported equipment includes two seats, a digital infotainment dashboard, air conditioning, navigation, and five-point racing harnesses. The replica also has a smoke-screen system and a jet-engine simulation. The simulation does not produce flames and is not a functioning jet engine. Architectural Digest reported that buyers could specify the interior, while the exterior followed the film design.
Can you drive the Tumbler on public roads?
The replica is drivable, but it is not street legal, according to the coverage from The Drive and Uncrate. The sources do not establish a registration or approval route that would make it legal for public-road use, so buyers should not assume it can be registered for ordinary road driving.

Are the Batmobile replicas sold out?
Uncrate’s seller page displayed “Sold out” on October 8, 2026. That reflects the status shown on that listing at the time; it does not prove that no inquiry, resale, or other allocation is possible. Because availability can change, anyone considering a purchase would need to confirm directly with the seller. The listing also described a 12-to-18-month build time, a 50% deposit, buyer vetting, and worldwide shipping; those terms should likewise be reconfirmed before being relied on.

This offer was for a full-size vehicle with a working V8 drivetrain, not a scale model or static display replica. The limited production run, customization, road-use restriction, and multi-million-dollar listed price make it a specialty vehicle purchase rather than an ordinary car sale. The sources do not establish a current resale value or investment return.
