Un Porsche 911 fue registrado a 312 km/h en la A40, en la Alta Saboya, pero la velocidad que las autoridades retuvieron tras aplicar el margen técnico fue de 300 km/h. El abogado del conductor sostiene que el radar podría no estar homologado para medir tan rápido; las noticias consultadas no identifican el aparato ni publican su certificado, y tampoco informan de una sentencia definitiva.
Qué ocurrió en la A40
La noche del 26 al 27 de septiembre de 2026, agentes interceptaron cerca de Vougy, en el valle del Arve, a un conductor extranjero que circulaba en un Porsche 911. En ese tramo de la autopista A40, en Francia, el límite era de 130 km/h, según la información local recogida por El HuffPost España y Le Dauphiné Libéré.
Las cifras difundidas atribuyen a la Gendarmería de Alta Saboya una medición de 312 km/h. Tras descontar el margen técnico, la velocidad retenida fue de 300 km/h: 170 km/h por encima del límite. Por tanto, 312 km/h es la velocidad medida, no la retenida; la diferencia respecto al límite también cambia según cuál de las dos cifras se use.
Por qué se cuestiona el radar
El abogado del conductor, Maître Rémy Changeur, plantea que el cinemómetro podría haberse usado por encima de su rango de homologación. Según declaraciones que le atribuye Caradisiac, muchos radares móviles antiguos estarían homologados hasta 250 km/h y, según su conocimiento, los sistemas más nuevos hasta 300 km/h.

Ese planteamiento es una alegación de la defensa, no una constatación probada sobre el aparato de este caso. La cobertura disponible no dice qué modelo se utilizó ni aporta su certificado de homologación. Sin esos datos no se puede concluir que el radar estuviera fuera de rango ni que la medición sea inválida.
¿Puede librarse de la multa?
Por ahora, no se puede afirmar que vaya a evitar una sanción. Un titular posterior de la prensa local rechaza la idea de que exista una vía de escape legal y señala que el conductor será sancionado, pero la información revisada no incluye una resolución judicial que permita dar por cerrado el caso. Le Dauphiné Libéré sitúa el asunto ante un tribunal en Bonneville; la fecha exacta y el resultado no están confirmados.

También se ha informado de que se retuvo el permiso de conducir, se inmovilizó el coche y se exigió un depósito de 1.500 euros. Son medidas y consecuencias procesales comunicadas por los medios, no una sentencia firme. Otras informaciones mencionan que el conductor podría afrontar una pena de prisión; eso también debe entenderse como una posible consecuencia, no como una condena ya impuesta.
