Ultraviolette’s Tesseract is an electric scooter whose headline feature is manufacturer-advertised radar-based rider awareness. The “$1,400” description comes from launch-era coverage in March 2025, not a confirmed current price: Autocar India reported introductory India pricing of ₹1.20 lakh for the first 10,000 units and ₹1.45 lakh ex-showroom thereafter. Ultraviolette’s current product page does not list a price and says final configurations and complete specifications are due in Q1 2027, with deliveries starting shortly after.
What the Tesseract radar is advertised to do
Ultraviolette describes the Tesseract’s system as “ARAS 360 Awareness.” The manufacturer says front radar scans the road ahead for obstacles, while rear radar tracks vehicles approaching from behind. It also says Omnisense mirrors alert riders to blind spots and fast-approaching vehicles. The company characterizes the system as full-circle radar that tracks surroundings in real time.
These are manufacturer descriptions, not independently verified safety results. The published material cited here does not establish radar range, false-positive rates, performance in specific weather or traffic conditions, or a measured reduction in collisions. New Atlas’s March 2025 launch coverage also described lane-change, overtaking and collision-alert functions; that is useful context about the launch, but it does not independently validate effectiveness.
Ultraviolette’s Tesseract product page is the source for the current feature claims. New Atlas’s 10 March 2025 report covers the launch-era description.

Availability and what remains unsettled
The current manufacturer page gives a Q1 2027 target for unlocking finalized variant selection, detailed configurations and complete specifications, followed by deliveries shortly after. It does not state a current price. New Atlas reported in March 2025 that the scooter was not then slated for global release; that launch-era statement does not establish present availability outside India.
Until Ultraviolette publishes final configurations, pricing and delivery details, the listed range, performance and equipment should be read as current manufacturer claims rather than a complete, finalized purchase specification.
