But the “$10k” price in the headline was an unconfirmed estimate reported in 2024—not a current announced retail price. Ultraviolette’s current page invites expressions of interest; it does not establish a sale date, customer deliveries, or road legality.
What the $10,000 figure actually means
New Atlas reported on September 27, 2024, that official pricing was unconfirmed and described a rumored price of about ₹800,000, then converted to roughly US$9,560. That estimate explains the headline’s “$10k” hook, but it should not be treated as the F99’s confirmed price. New Atlas’s 2024 report is historical, and Ultraviolette’s current F99 page does not list a price.
So the F99 is not established as a $10,000 electric superbike available to buy. The manufacturer currently presents it as a factory racing platform and offers an interest form, not a published retail listing. Neither the current product page nor the 2024 report establishes a customer delivery date or current sales market. Ultraviolette’s F99 page also does not establish road homologation, so the available information does not show that it can be registered for public-road use.
What Ultraviolette says the F99 can do
On its F99 page, accessed October 8, 2026, Ultraviolette lists the following specifications and performance claims. They are manufacturer figures, not independently measured test results in the cited sources.

The 265 km/h figure is explicitly an estimate on the manufacturer’s current page. It differs from the 159 mph (256 km/h) top-speed claim New Atlas reported in 2024. Those are figures from different sources and publication contexts; neither source establishes an independently verified top speed.
What is known about the quarter-mile claim
Ultraviolette says the F99 set a 10.712-second quarter-mile record and labels it “FMSCI Certified.” That is the manufacturer’s record claim; the cited sources do not independently verify the timing or certification. The company also calls the F99 the fastest Indian-manufactured motorcycle, a promotional claim presented alongside the record statement on its official page.

Track-focused design and reported components
Ultraviolette describes the F99 as a factory racing platform and labels the displayed motorcycle track-spec. The company lists a carbon-fiber body and a liquid-cooled drivetrain. New Atlas’s September 2024 article additionally reported Brembo calipers, twin front discs, an Öhlins front fork and rear monoshock, and slick tires. Those component details are article-reported; the current official page cited here does not provide the same component list.
The racing-platform description matters more to a prospective buyer than the “budget” label: without a confirmed retail price, delivery schedule, sales market, or evidence of road homologation, the F99 cannot yet be assessed as an affordable road-going alternative to production superbikes.

Can you buy the Ultraviolette F99?
The current official page invites expressions of interest, but does not state that customers can place an order, name a price, or give a delivery date. It also does not specify a market in which the bike is available for sale. Treat the F99 as a manufacturer-presented racing platform whose consumer availability is unclear, rather than as a confirmed $10,000 purchase.
