UBL Drive is the UBL product to ask about if you want to finance a Suzuki Swift in Pakistan. UBL’s current product page describes general car financing, but it does not confirm that the Swift-specific installment offer reported in May 2025 is still available. Treat those older figures as historical, not as a current quote.

UBL currently publishes general financing terms through UBL Drive for locally assembled or manufactured new and used cars. The page does not establish a live Swift-specific promotion or confirm the installment figures reported in 2025. Ask UBL for a current written quotation for your chosen Swift variant.
UBL says financing may cover up to 70% of the vehicle’s value, with a minimum financing amount of PKR 250,000 and a maximum of PKR 3 million. The approved amount and your required upfront contribution depend on the vehicle and application; confirm both with the bank.

UBL says cases involving a deviation carry an additional 0.50%. Ask whether that applies to your application and have the bank explain the rate and resulting payment schedule in writing.
Tenure and residual-value option
UBL lists a tenure of one to five years for vehicles up to 1,000 cc and one to three years for vehicles above 1,000 cc. Check the applicable limit for the exact Swift variant and financing structure.

UBL also offers a residual-value structure: it says a lump sum of up to 50% is payable at the end of the financing tenure, reducing the regular installments. Request the exact final amount and how it is treated in your agreement. A lower monthly payment does not, by itself, mean a lower total cost.
Who can apply, and what documents are listed?
UBL’s published criteria are eligibility requirements, not a promise of approval. Its product page lists applicants who hold a Pakistan CNIC and states these income and age criteria:

What the May 2025 Swift installment report said
ProPakistani reported on May 3, 2025, that UBL had an offer covering the Swift GL Manual, GL CVT and GLX CVT. The report gave these vehicle prices and described a 14.5% fixed rate, with installment calculations using a 50% residual value and excluding insurance:

These are the report’s 2025 figures, not verified current prices or a confirmed offer. The report also warned that vehicle prices could change. Its installment calculations excluded insurance, so they should not be used as an all-in monthly cost.

UBL’s Schedule of Charges for January–June 2026 lists a PKR 14,000 UBL Drive processing charge post-approval and a PKR 1,500 charge per late installment per month. It says insurance is charged at the amount quoted by the insurer and lists early-termination charges that vary by financing year. Vendor charges may change; verify the applicable schedule, taxes and terms before accepting an offer.

UBL’s product page names UBL Insurance, Adamjee, EFU, TPL and Premier Insurance. The list does not establish an insurance premium. Ask for the premium, coverage and insurer, and check whether insurance is included in the quoted monthly installment.

How to get a useful current quote
- Confirm the car details. Check the Swift variant’s current price and availability with Suzuki or a dealer. Pak Suzuki’s official website provides an installment calculator with equity or security-deposit and tenure inputs, plus booking and dealer links. Treat its result as a manufacturer-side estimate, not UBL loan approval.
- Ask UBL for a written, variant-specific quotation. Request the down payment, financed principal, rate type and benchmark, tenure, monthly installment, and—if using residual value—the final payment and its due date.
- Request the full cost breakdown. Have UBL identify insurance, processing and other fees, applicable taxes, early-settlement terms, and the offer’s expiry date. Confirm which charges are included in any monthly figure.
- Compare total cash outlay, not only the monthly amount. Compare the upfront payment, installments, final residual payment, insurance and fees, and total amount payable. For a floating rate, also ask how benchmark changes affect payments.
