The TVS Racing International Championship made its first European racetrack appearance at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy on 2–4 October 2026. Italian rider Cristian Borrelli won both races, while India’s Sarthak Chavan was the leading Indian finisher in each.
What happened at Misano
The championship raced at Misano as part of the Coppa Italia program. The official championship announcement said the TVS category would not take part in Round 5 at PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit that weekend, instead staging its European campaign in Italy. Autocar India’s 6 October 2026 report described Misano as the series’ first European racetrack appearance.
According to Autocar India, 14 riders took part, including three from India. They contested two seven-lap races, and Borrelli claimed a home double by winning both.
How the riders from India fared
Sarthak Chavan was the best Indian finisher in both races, placing seventh in Race 1 and sixth in Race 2. Autocar India reported that he started both races from the back after crashing in qualifying.

What motorcycle the championship uses
The championship announcement identifies the race machine as a race-tuned TVS Apache RR 310 platform. That describes the competition motorcycle; it should not be taken as a specification for a retail Apache RR 310, since the announcement does not detail the race bike’s modifications. TVS Racing’s official page is the team’s public racing resource.
Why TVS took the series to Italy
The official announcement presented Misano as a chance for Asian riders to race alongside European competitors and for the team to gain setup and telemetry experience in different track conditions. These were the championship’s stated aims for the event, not independently measured results.

How this fits TVS Racing’s history
Autocar India reports that TVS’s factory racing program began in 1982 with the TVS 50 moped. The company joined the Asia Road Racing Championship in 2020 and partnered with Petronas in 2022 to create the TVS Racing One Make Championship in Asia, now known as the TVS Racing International Championship. Autocar India’s coverage of the European campaign discusses that background.
