Setting up the tent, awning and living area takes additional steps. For buyers, the other key point is that the MK6 is offered in distinct configurations: dimensions, weights and equipment should be checked against the exact model and build sheet.
What does the Tvan’s 30-second setup include?
The quick-access idea is part of the Tvan’s design: canvas is stored at the rear, and opening the rear arrangement provides access to the bed and sheltered interior. For the MK6, New Atlas describes the Skyward deck and hatch lifting together to open the cabin in seconds. Track’s earlier-generation page explains the established concept, but it should not be treated as an MK6 specification.

MOUNTUP Lockable RV TV Mount for 13-43 Inch TVs - Full Motion Swivel RV TV Bracket with Pull Cord... | $27.99 | Buy on Amazon |
That quick access is different from preparing the whole campsite. Deploying the rear deck, tent and awning is a separate, more involved process. The 30-second description is not a guaranteed timed result for every person, campsite or condition.
What changed with the MK6?
Track dates the MK6 release to 2025. Its history page describes revisions including increased headroom over the bed, more capacity in the front box and pantry, larger windows, a larger Quick Cover awning, and lighting, styling and structural updates.

New Atlas reported Track’s claims of 20% more interior space and 25% more front storage-cabinet capacity. These are manufacturer-reported comparisons, not figures from an independent measurement. Separately, Track’s 2025 Firetail MK6 brochure describes its windows as “Noticeably 20% larger”; that figure refers to the Firetail’s window change, not overall interior space.
Firetail MK6 dimensions, weights and off-road hardware
The figures below come from Track Trailer’s Firetail MK6 brochure. They describe that model and are not a guarantee that every MK6 variant or optioned build is identical.
| Specification | Firetail MK6 brochure figure |
|---|---|
| Travel length | 4,900 mm |
| Travel width | 1,920 mm |
| Setup length | 6,600 mm |
| ATM | 1,800 kg |
| Guide tare | 1,100 kg |
| Guide ball weight | 155 kg |
| Water tank | 108 L |
| Wheel track | 1,650 mm |
| Departure angle | 30 degrees |
| Suspension travel | 250 mm |
The brochure describes a hot-dipped galvanised chassis, MC2 suspension, aluminium sandwich-panel walls and a DO35 3.5-tonne fully articulated off-road coupling. It cautions that tare and ball weights can change with the model, drawbar layout and options. These construction details are not, on their own, an independent durability test.
Equipment differs by MK6 model
The Murranji MK6 brochure lists equipment specific to that configuration, including a 95 L Evakool dual-zone fridge/freezer, a 108 L rear water tank plus an additional 70 L front tank, 200 Ah usable lithium capacity, a 350 W inverter and a 200 W roof-mounted solar panel. Do not assume these items are included on a Firetail or another MK6 build.

The Firetail brochure describes a front fridge slide for units up to 95 L, but that does not establish that any particular fridge model will fit. Confirm appliance dimensions and slide compatibility with the written build specification.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to assess whether it suits your tow vehicle and trip
Start with the exact trailer configuration, not a generic MK6 figure. The brochures state that specifications and pricing may change, and fitted options can affect weights and equipment.
- Check towing limits. Compare the quoted trailer’s tare, ball load and ATM with the vehicle’s rated towing and load limits, including relevant axle and payload limits. Use the actual build figures rather than assuming the brochure’s guide weights apply unchanged.
- Confirm power and refrigeration. Check usable battery capacity, inverter rating, solar and charging equipment, and whether the fridge is included or an option.
- Match water and campsite equipment to the trip. Verify the tanks, kitchen, heating or hot-water equipment, and the specific tent and awning arrangement on the quote.
- Check storage and fitment. Confirm fridge-slide dimensions, front-box capacity and the fit of any equipment you plan to carry.
- Read the purchase terms. Request warranty terms and exclusions for the exact model and purchase date, plus current fitted-option prices, delivery fees and on-road costs.
Track’s current range page, the applicable brochure and an authorised dealer can help establish what is available, but the signed quote and build sheet are the useful references for a particular trailer. The Firetail brochure explicitly says model specifications and pricing details are subject to change.
