What is the Lamborghini Ninebot go-kart?
The product is the Ninebot GoKart Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition, model N2C432. It pairs a low-slung kart frame with a detachable Xiaomi self-balancing scooter as its propulsion base. The yellow bodywork and Lamborghini branding give it the look of a miniature exotic car, but this is an electric recreational kart—not a road car or a full-size Lamborghini.
Futurism’s September 15, 2020 report described high-traction rear tires and Bluetooth speakers that can play music or simulate Lamborghini V8 or V12 sounds. Those are details reported at the time, not independent test findings. The same article said the kart could cover up to 62 laps of a 400-meter track; treat that as a promotional-era claim rather than a verified range test.
How fast does it go?
The figures in the available sources do not match. Segway-Ninebot’s manual lists a maximum speed of 37 km/h, while Futurism reported up to 25 mph (40 km/h) in 2020. Neither source establishes why the numbers differ, and the available evidence does not provide an independent top-speed test. It is most accurate to treat 37 km/h as the manual’s specification and 25 mph as the older article’s report, not combine them into one confirmed result.

These are specifications in the Segway-Ninebot product manual; the manual copy surfaced for these details does not display a publication year. Range and speed can depend on conditions, and the cited figures should not be read as guaranteed real-world performance.
Can you ride it in the rain?
No. The manual’s FAQ prohibits outdoor riding in rainy weather. IPX4 is a water-protection rating, but it does not override that explicit use restriction or make wet-weather riding permissible under the manual.

How much did it cost, and is it still available?
There is no reliable universal current price established by the cited listings. Futurism reported a China launch price of 9,999 yuan—about $1,450 in its September 2020 article. That is historical launch-price reporting, not a current quote.
Alien Rides lists the kart at $3,695 but marks it not in stock/pre-order and says, as of July 2024, it could no longer acquire more units. The retailer calls it a limited run. That points to potentially scarce supply, but does not prove that no unit can be found anywhere today; inventory and pricing may vary by seller and region.
