“The Highboy is back” refers to a reported 2020 styling package for a modern Ford Super Duty, not a new factory F-250 model or trim. That makes “back” a styling reference: a modern Super Duty was given a treatment inspired by the classic F-250 Highboy, rather than Ford reviving the name as a factory model. The original publisher and author are not identified in the accessible excerpt, so the package details should be understood as reported rather than independently confirmed.
What is—and isn’t—known about the truck
- Two-tone appearance: The headline describes the truck as two-tone, but the available excerpt does not identify the paint colors or provide a detailed paint specification.
- Parts and options: The description mentions factory equipment and options alongside aftermarket parts, but gives no complete build sheet or itemized parts list.
- Price and availability: The excerpt does not establish the package’s price, whether a truck was available for purchase, or whether the package remains available today.
- Historical definition: The material does not set out the precise year range or technical criteria for a classic truck to qualify as a Highboy.

How the modern package differs from a classic Highboy
The useful distinction is one of generation and status. Classic F-250 Highboys are older trucks; the 2020 story concerns a modern Super Duty styling package attributed to a dealership and using aftermarket parts as well as factory equipment.
