It was revealed at ComplexCon and is being offered in a sweepstakes. The “destined to be totaled” part is a joke about the game—not an announced plan for the real car.
What is the Street Fighter Lexus?
It is a real-world promotional build based on a Lexus LS400. The General commissioned Vehicle Effects to recreate the executive sedan players attack in Street Fighter II’s bonus stage. The Drive reported the build and its game inspiration on October 5, 2026 (The Drive).
In the game, players batter the car to earn points before time runs out; The Drive describes a 40-second limit. The digital car is rendered in pixel art, while the promotional LS400 translates that look into physical styling. It is not the same vehicle as the Toyota Crown featured in an earlier car-smashing bonus stage in Final Fight.
How does the real car recreate the game?
The LS400 has a pixel-style exterior treatment, with custom-fabricated details including the grille, mirrors and door handles. The Drive’s report also notes that functional lights appear to sit beneath removable pixelated covers; that is an observation of the car’s appearance, not a confirmed build specification.

Is the Lexus being given away?
Yes. The General’s announcement describes a sweepstakes prize consisting of the Lexus and $25,400.69 in cash. The sponsor announcement lists November 18, 2026, as the promotion’s end date (The General announcement carried by Webull). The vehicle was revealed at ComplexCon in Los Angeles.

Sweepstakes terms can change, and eligibility depends on the official rules. A secondary listing reports exclusions and a driver’s-license requirement, but it should not be treated as definitive; consult the current official rules for entry instructions, eligibility and deadlines. The available announcement and listing do not establish that the car will be destroyed after the giveaway.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Will the real Street Fighter Lexus be totaled?
There is no reported plan to total it. The headline’s destruction angle riffs on the bonus stage, where players damage a car for points. In real life, the LS400 is a promotional giveaway; the reported prize is the car plus cash, not a demolition event.
