The price is a current listing, not a confirmed historical 2025 launch price, so it should not be treated as proof that every 2025 model-year car sold for that amount.
What is the cheapest new Mercedes-AMG?
Mercedes-Benz USA lists the AMG CLA 35 Coupe at $56,600 MSRP on its CLA model-builder page. The brand’s 2025 warranty and service booklet includes the AMG CLA 35 in its Model Year 2025 material, confirming that the model was offered for that model year. The booklet does not establish its historical MSRP.
Because the price comes from a live model-builder page consulted in 2026, it is best understood as the displayed MSRP at that time—not a verified 2025 launch price, dealer transaction price, or assurance that an unregistered 2025 car is still available. Mercedes-Benz USA’s 2025 Service and Warranty Information booklet provides the model-year confirmation.
How it compares with other lower-priced AMG models
These are MSRP figures displayed in Mercedes-Benz USA’s vehicle catalog when consulted in 2026. They help show why the CLA 35 is the lowest-priced option among these listed models; they are not a historical 2025 price comparison.

| Model | Body style | Displayed MSRP |
|---|---|---|
| AMG CLA 35 | Coupe | $56,600 (Mercedes-Benz USA model-builder, accessed 2026) |
| AMG GLA 35 | SUV | $58,550 (Mercedes-Benz USA catalog, accessed 2026) |

| AMG CLA 45 S | CLA variant | $67,550 (Mercedes-Benz USA catalog, accessed 2026) |
The closest listed alternative by price is the GLA 35, an SUV rather than a coupe. The GLB 35 is also an SUV, while the CLA 45 S is a higher-priced version of the CLA. Price alone does not establish which is the better fit: shoppers should compare equipment, drivetrain, space, and total ownership cost for the particular vehicles they are considering.

What to check before buying a 2025 model
- Confirm the vehicle’s model year and whether it is genuinely new; a current MSRP listing does not confirm that a particular 2025 car remains in dealer inventory.
- Ask the dealer for the vehicle’s actual selling price and itemized fees. MSRP is not a transaction-price quote.
- Compare the CLA 35 with the GLA 35 or GLB 35 if SUV space matters, and with the CLA 45 S if you are considering a higher-priced CLA variant.
