The 2026 Harley-Davidson X440 T is the version with the styling update: a redesigned rear section, bar-end mirrors, revised exhaust details and sportier graphics. Those changes give the roadster a more purposeful look, while repositioned grab rails are intended to improve pillion ergonomics. The update applies to the X440 T; it should not be assumed to apply to the base X440.
What changed on the X440 T?
Harley-Davidson’s India model page describes the X440 T as a “street legal roadster built for performance – a modern expression of Harley-Davidson’s heritage.” Its listed changes focus on the tail and visible finishing details:
- Rear section: a redesigned rear subframe and all-new tail section.
- Pillion setup: repositioned grab rails, which Harley-Davidson says are intended to improve passenger ergonomics.
- Mirrors and exhaust: bar-end mirrors, plus a new exhaust heat shield and end cap.
- Graphics: sportier graphics; the manufacturer’s 2025 brochure also calls out new fuel-tank graphics.

Harley-Davidson publishes fuel economy of 3.3 l/100 km and names the WMTC Carbon Balancing Cycle as the test method. That is a manufacturer-published test figure, not a promise of the distance every rider will get in everyday traffic.
How does the X440 T compare with the base X440?
The supported comparison is limited to the displayed Delhi ex-showroom prices and the X440 T’s stated updates and equipment. The available figures do not establish a full feature-by-feature comparison with the base model.

The prices are the product site’s Delhi ex-showroom figures, not on-road quotes. Harley-Davidson’s X440 T page also lists starting MSRP at INR 2,86,000+. Confirm the current price, taxes, insurance and other charges with a local dealer before budgeting.
What should buyers know about price changes?
Autocar India reported a price increase of up to INR 2,000 for the X440 series in August 2026. That dated report is not a guarantee of a particular dealer’s current price.

The original X440’s INR 2,29,000 introductory price was announced by Hero MotoCorp in 2023 and applied only through August 3, 2023. It is historical, not a current offer.
Why do older X440 booking figures still appear?
Hero MotoCorp said in October 2023 that the X440 had received over 25,000 bookings within a month of its July 2023 showcase. That is a company-reported launch-period figure, not a current sales total or measure of present demand.

Is a new colour or 350 cc X440 coming?
Questions about “new colours” or a “350cc launch” do not confirm that either has been announced. The model information cited here establishes the X440 T’s styling updates, but it does not establish a newly announced 350 cc model or a separate new-colour launch.
