The 1973 Plymouth Barracuda advertised with the line “This Cuda is Fast and Furious!!!” is no longer available: its ClassicCars.com listing is marked sold. The listing’s former asking price was $57,900. That slogan was seller copy, not proof the car appeared in a Fast & Furious film. A separate record identifies a different, 1972 Barracuda as a Furious 7 screen car.
What happened to the 1973 Barracuda listing?
ClassicCars.com listing CC-2005549 advertised a 1973 Plymouth Barracuda in Largo, Florida. The page is now marked sold, so the car is not currently offered through that listing. Its former asking price was $57,900; that was an asking price, not a confirmed sale price. View the ClassicCars.com listing.
The listing showed a black exterior and interior, manual transmission, stock number 2581, and VIN BS23H3B257092. Its odometer field displayed 0, which should not be taken as verified mileage. The seller described the car as a 340 V8 Cuda with a four-speed manual and Pistol Grip shifter. Those details, like the listed equipment, are seller claims rather than independent inspection findings.
Why the “Fast and Furious” wording does not establish film history
The phrase comes from the seller’s description: “This Cuda is Fast and Furious!!!” It is promotional language, not documentation that the 1973 car was used in a film. The listing itself advises buyers to verify claims and specifications. No film provenance for this specific 1973 vehicle is established by that listing.

The documented Furious 7 Barracuda is a different car
A separate Classic Valuer record describes a 1972 Plymouth Barracuda as a screen-used car from Furious 7 (2015), associated with Letty Ortiz in the Race Wars sequence. Its stated chassis number is BS23H2B188941, and the record describes it as a manual car with a Mopar V8 requiring mechanical recommissioning. Those details apply to the 1972 vehicle, not the sold 1973 listing. See the Classic Valuer record.
The Classic Valuer page displays £74,004 and gives an auction date of 28 November 2025 in France, but the accessible record does not make clear whether the displayed amount is the hammer price or includes the buyer’s premium. It should not be treated as a definitive realized price without confirmation from the auction result.

What the 1973 seller said was fitted
The ClassicCars.com description listed the following features. They are claims in the advertisement, not verified condition or specification findings:
- 340 V8, four-speed manual transmission, and Pistol Grip shifter
- Holley Sniper fuel injection, headers, aluminum radiator, billet pulleys, MSD ignition system, billet distributor, and aluminum intake
- Upgraded gauges, power steering, and power brakes
- Black bucket seats with center console and a twin-bulge Cuda hood
- Weld Racing Drag Lite aluminum wheels and BF Goodrich raised-white-letter tires
The seller also said financing and shipping could be arranged and offered a FaceTime walk-around and test drive. These were offers shown on the historical listing; with the car marked sold, they do not establish current availability.
