The $60,000 Cybertruck is a historical price headline, not the current U.S. entry price. Tesla’s configurator listed the Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive at $74,990 on October 8, 2026; the cheaper trim is still a Cybertruck, but it is not a $60,000 pickup today.
How much is the cheapest Cybertruck now?
Tesla’s U.S. configurator showed these vehicle prices when checked on October 8, 2026. Prices can change, and Tesla displays destination and order fees separately; taxes and other fees may also apply.

Is the $60,000 Cybertruck still available?
The available official information does not establish that a Cybertruck can currently be ordered for $60,000, or the exact dates and conditions behind the historical $59,990 headline. Treat that figure as a past price point, not a current offer. The current U.S. configurator’s least expensive listed trim is the Dual Motor AWD at $74,990, before separately displayed destination and order fees and any applicable taxes or other charges.

What does the cheaper Dual Motor Cybertruck offer?
Tesla lists the Dual Motor AWD with 325 miles of EPA-estimated range, towing capacity of up to 11,000 pounds, and a 0–60 mph time of 4.1 seconds. These are manufacturer-published, trim-specific figures, not independent test results. Range is an estimate; real-world results can vary with conditions. Check the current configurator and product information for the exact vehicle you plan to order.
What do you give up—or gain—by comparing trims?
Price is only one part of the comparison. Tesla describes Premium AWD as including adaptive air suspension and outlets in the bed and cabin, while equipment varies by trim. Confirm the equipment listed for your specific configuration rather than assuming that a feature shown on the general product page is standard on every Cybertruck.

- Capability: Compare the range, towing figure, and acceleration Tesla lists for each trim.
- Suspension and utility: Check whether adaptive air suspension and bed or cabin outlets are included in the configuration you select.
- Bed and dimensions: Tesla describes a 6-by-4-foot bed. The owner’s manual lists an overall length of 223.74 inches and a width of 79.98 inches excluding mirrors; options, wheels, and tires can affect measurements.
- Warranty: Tesla’s Cybertruck product page lists a basic warranty of four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first, and a battery and drive unit warranty of eight years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first. Confirm the terms that apply to your model and order.
What about driver assistance and charging?
Tesla says Traffic-Aware Cruise Control is standard on every Cybertruck. Its FAQ also makes clear that FSD (Supervised) is not autonomous: the driver must remain alert and in control. Tesla’s stated responsibility is: “It is your responsibility to stay alert, drive safely and be in control of your vehicle at all times.”
Charging arrangements are another ownership detail to assess for your own use. Tesla’s product information includes home charging equipment and vehicle accessories; verify what is included with a particular order and what you may need to purchase separately.

Is the cheaper Cybertruck a budget pickup?
No. “Cheaper” here means the least expensive trim in Tesla’s Cybertruck lineup, not a low-cost pickup in general. Even at the October 8, 2026 U.S. listed price of $74,990, the Dual Motor remains a high-priced vehicle, and the listed vehicle price is not the full purchase total. Whether it makes sense depends on how its size, capability, equipment, and ownership costs fit your needs—not on the old $60,000 headline alone.
