The Tesla Cyberbeast is a roughly $100,000 electric pickup that prioritizes tri-motor performance while retaining substantial towing capability. In the U.S. snapshot dated October 8, 2026, Tesla’s configurator displayed $99,990, while Cars.com listed a 2026 price of $101,985 including destination. The difference reflects distinct pricing bases, not a single settled out-the-door price. Its 320-mile estimate is also not a promise: Car and Driver recorded 250 miles in its own range test.
How much does the Cyberbeast cost?
Price depends on the source and whether destination is included. Tesla’s U.S. configurator displayed the Cyberbeast at $99,990. Cars.com’s 2026 price table lists it at $101,985, including a $1,995 destination charge. These figures should not be treated as directly interchangeable; incentives, availability and live pricing can change. Check Tesla’s Cybertruck configurator for a current quote.
| 2026 trim | Cars.com price including destination | Range estimate reported by Cars.com | Useful distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive | $71,985 | 325 miles | Cars.com reports a 7,500-pound maximum tow rating. |
| Premium All-Wheel Drive | $81,985 | 325 miles | Cars.com describes adjustable-height suspension and 11,000-pound towing. |
| Cyberbeast | $101,985 | 320 miles | Tri-motor performance; Cars.com reports a 2.6-second 0–60 mph estimate. |
All prices in this comparison are Cars.com’s listed 2026 figures with its stated $1,995 destination charge; they are not Tesla configurator quotes. The configurator’s displayed $99,990 Cyberbeast price uses a different basis. Cars.com’s 2026 Cybertruck pricing and review is the source for the table and trim descriptions.
What does Cyberbeast add over the other Cybertruck trims?
The main distinction is the performance emphasis. Cars.com reports a 2.6-second 0–60 mph estimate for Cyberbeast, compared with 4.1 seconds for the dual-motor AWD trims. Those are reported estimates, not a guarantee for every vehicle or condition.

Dual Motor AWD
Cars.com describes the base AWD as using 18-inch wheels and adaptive dampers. It costs less than the higher trims in its 2026 destination-inclusive comparison, but its reported maximum tow rating is lower than Premium’s.
Premium AWD
Cars.com says Premium adds adjustable-height suspension and an 11,000-pound tow rating. Its trim description also lists synthetic-leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a rear passenger screen and a 15-speaker audio system.
Cyberbeast
Cars.com describes Cyberbeast as sharing the Premium’s listed cabin equipment and adjustable-height suspension while adding a motor and more power. It lists 20-inch wheels for Premium and Cyberbeast; verify the live configurator for exact equipment, because trim specifications can change.

How far does a Cyberbeast go on a charge?
Cars.com reports Tesla range estimates of 320 miles for Cyberbeast and 325 miles for dual-motor versions. It also describes a 123-kWh battery pack and DC fast charging up to 350 kW. These are reported specifications and estimates, not a prediction of the distance a particular owner will travel between charges. See Cars.com’s 2026 Cybertruck review for its reported figures.
In Car and Driver’s range test, a Cyberbeast covered 250 miles. That is one publication’s test result under its test conditions, not a universal owner result or a revised EPA estimate. Actual range varies with factors such as speed, weather, terrain, wheels, load and towing. Tesla specifically warns that towing significantly decreases range. Car and Driver’s Cybertruck review reports the test result.
How much can a Cyberbeast tow?
Towing capacity depends on configuration. Tesla’s manual lists a maximum trailer weight of 11,000 pounds and maximum tongue weight of 1,100 pounds for AWD Cybertruck with 20-inch wheels. Its Long Range table lists 7,500 pounds and 750 pounds, respectively. Confirm the specific vehicle’s configuration and hitch label rather than assuming every Cybertruck has the higher rating. The figures and procedures are in Tesla’s Cybertruck towing guidance.

The stated maximum assumes the truck remains within its gross vehicle weight rating. Passengers, cargo and equipment can reduce the tongue weight and towing capacity available for a trailer. Tesla’s manual also says payload is limited by whichever comes first: available space or the vehicle’s weight capacity; exceeding specified weights can cause damage not covered by warranty. Tesla’s owner manual covers payload and weight limits.
What towing requires
Trailer weight is only part of the calculation. Tesla says towing adds load to the motors, drivetrain, brakes, tires and suspension, and significantly decreases range. Its guidance calls for attention to regional towing rules, specified cold tire pressures, suspension height, balanced tongue weight and Trailer Mode. Tesla recommends tongue weight at approximately 10% of trailer weight, without exceeding the applicable limit, and checking trailer lights, brakes, connections and cargo.
Tesla’s official warning is explicit: “Do not tow with Cybertruck if you do not have towing knowledge and experience; doing so may result in damage, injury or death.” Tesla also says towing-related damage is not covered by warranty; that statement concerns towing-related damage, not unrelated repairs. Consult the official towing instructions before using the truck to tow.

What charging equipment and ownership accessories should buyers consider?
Tesla’s Mobile Connector listing describes charging from standard outlets and includes NEMA 5-15 and 14-50 adapters. Charging rates depend on the outlet and vehicle. Tesla says the connector can pair with its Outlet Adapter for device power in compatible Cybertruck configurations, but its manual says the Gen 3 Mobile Connector is required when using the Outlet Adapter. The adapter is not a bidirectional inverter and cannot power a home electrical panel. Check regional availability, vehicle compatibility and connector generation before relying on this setup.
Product listings and availability can change: check Tesla’s Mobile Connector and Outlet Adapter pages for current details.
For cabin cleanup, Tesla sells Cybertruck-specific all-weather interior liners described as custom measured for the truck. The product page showed them out of stock on October 8, 2026. Do not assume a generic pickup mat or an unverified third-party listing will fit: check model-year and trim compatibility before buying. Tesla’s Cybertruck interior-liners listing provides the product details and current stock status.

Is the Cyberbeast worth about $100,000?
It makes the strongest case for a buyer who specifically wants the tri-motor performance and the features Cars.com associates with the upper trims. For a buyer focused mainly on price or towing, Premium AWD is worth comparing: Cars.com lists it at $81,985 including destination and describes it as offering an 11,000-pound tow rating. The Dual Motor AWD is less expensive still, but Cars.com lists its maximum tow rating at 7,500 pounds.
Compare vehicles on the same price basis, then match the decision to your use: estimated versus tested range, towing and payload after passengers and cargo, acceleration, suspension and cabin equipment, and charging access. If frequent long-distance towing is central to the job, account for the range reduction Tesla warns about rather than treating the unladen range estimate as a towing-trip forecast.
