Ein Treffer ist jedoch keine Garantie, dass ein Teil zu jeder Motor-, Karosserie- oder Ausstattungsvariante passt: Prüfen Sie vor dem Kauf die genaue Ausführung und die Teilenummer.
Was Amazon Garage bei der Teilesuche leistet
Amazon stellte Garage 2016 als Teil von Amazon Vehicles vor: Nutzer können Fahrzeuge mit ihrem Konto verknüpfen und die Angaben für eine fahrzeugspezifische Suche verwenden. Amazon beschrieb die Funktion damals als Verbindung von Fahrzeugrecherche und Automobil-Community; die heutige Darstellung und Menüführung kann sich je nach Store und Zeitpunkt unterscheiden.
Bei der dokumentierten Fitment-Auswahl werden Fahrzeugtyp, Baujahr, Marke und Modell abgefragt. Nach der Auswahl können Angebote einen fahrzeugbezogenen Passformhinweis zeigen. Amazons Fitment-Unterlage zeigt diese Auswahl und ein Bosch-Scheibenwischer-Beispiel. Die Abbildung ist historisch und belegt weder den aktuellen Lagerbestand noch die Passform aller Wischer dieser Marke.
So suchen Sie mit Ihrem Fahrzeugprofil
- Öffnen Sie den passenden Amazon-Store. Suchen Sie dort nach Automotive, Garage, Your Garage oder einem Fahrzeugfilter. Die genaue Menüposition kann sich ändern.
- Wählen Sie Ihr Fahrzeug aus oder fügen Sie es hinzu. Geben Sie die verlangten Angaben ein. Die dokumentierte Oberfläche fragt Fahrzeugtyp, Baujahr, Marke und Modell ab.
- Suchen Sie nach dem benötigten Teil. Als Beispiel können Sie „Scheibenwischer Auto“ eingeben. Aktivieren Sie den Filter für Ihr gespeichertes Fahrzeug, sofern der Store ihn anbietet.
- Prüfen Sie das einzelne Angebot. Achten Sie darauf, ob es einen Fit-Hinweis für Ihr Fahrzeug zeigt, und lesen Sie zusätzlich Produktbeschreibung sowie Hersteller- oder Teilenummer.
Warum ein Fit-Hinweis keine Passgarantie ist
Amazon.de erklärt, dass der Partfinder Kompatibilitätsdaten verwendet, die Verkäufer zu ihren Angeboten bereitstellen. Der Amazon-Leitfaden zum Verkauf von Autoteilen beschreibt diese Daten als Grundlage der angezeigten Kompatibilität. Ein Filtertreffer sagt daher aus, dass das Angebot anhand der hinterlegten Angaben zugeordnet wird; er ersetzt nicht die Prüfung der konkreten Teile- und Fahrzeugausführung.

- Vergleichen Sie Baujahr, Modell und – wenn relevant – Motorisierung, Karosserie und Ausstattungsvariante mit der Produktbeschreibung.
- Prüfen Sie eine vorhandene Hersteller-Teilenummer gegen die Teilenummer des benötigten Bauteils.
- Wenn Angaben fehlen oder widersprüchlich sind, klären Sie die Passform mit dem Hersteller oder Verkäufer, bevor Sie bestellen.
- Ein fehlender Treffer beweist nicht, dass es kein passendes Teil gibt: Die für ein Angebot bereitgestellten Kompatibilitätsdaten können unvollständig sein. Amazon nennt keine Vollständigkeitsquote.
Verfügbarkeit und regionale Unterschiede
Amazon Garage und die Partfinder-Funktionen sind nicht pauschal in jedem Land oder Store gleich verfügbar. Amazons deutscher Leitfaden, zuletzt im Februar 2025 aktualisiert, führt Verkäuferinformationen zur Fahrzeugkompatibilität für Deutschland, das Vereinigte Königreich, Frankreich, Italien, Spanien, die Niederlande, Schweden und Polen auf. Laut Leitfaden können Österreich-bezogene Kompatibilitätsdaten im deutschen Amazon-Store verwendet werden. Diese Angaben beziehen sich auf Verkäufer und Angebotsdaten, nicht auf eine Garantie, dass jeder Nutzer dieselben Menüs oder Filter sieht.
Amazon Japan veröffentlichte 2018 eine eigene Beschreibung seines Auto Parts Finder. Sie belegt eine regionale Funktion zu diesem Zeitpunkt, ist aber keine Anleitung für Amazon.de. Die japanische Mitteilung beschreibt den damaligen Auto Parts Finder für den japanischen Markt.
