Rivian is reportedly teasing a collaboration tied to Ghostbusters, but what it will involve has not been disclosed. A report from Ghostbusters News, published October 7, 2026, names Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, and Ghost Corps alongside Rivian and quotes the teaser: “There’s something strange coming to your neighborhood.” The available details do not establish whether the collaboration is a vehicle, an event, merchandise, or something else.
What Rivian is reported to be teasing
Ghostbusters News describes the teaser as a collaboration involving Rivian, Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, and Ghost Corps. Its reported line—“There’s something strange coming to your neighborhood”—points toward the Ghostbusters connection, but does not explain what the partners plan to do.
The report says the specific plan remains under wraps. It does not identify a vehicle, special edition, product, event, or release date, so none of those should be treated as confirmed.
What is confirmed—and what is not
The named companies and the franchise connection come from Ghostbusters News, not from an official announcement located for this article. The cited report is therefore the basis for describing the tease; it is not independent confirmation from Rivian or the entertainment companies.

Why the teaser does not reveal the answer
The wording is deliberately broad. It can support the franchise association reported by Ghostbusters News, but it does not distinguish among a promotional campaign, an experience, a licensed product, or another kind of partnership. Picking one would turn a possibility into a claim the report does not support.
For now, there is no specific product to identify or recommend as part of the collaboration. The answer to what Rivian is teasing is simply that a Ghostbusters-related partnership has been reported, while its actual form remains unknown.
