What the Rambler TRL is
The Rambler TRL is a Razor electric bike aimed at adult riders. Razor describes it as using “Class 2 E-Bike Technology,” but that product description does not settle how the bike is classified or where it may be ridden under every local law. Check the rules that apply to your location and intended routes.
Razor lists the bike for riders aged 18 and older and gives a recommended maximum rider weight of 220 lb (100 kg). These are manufacturer limits; age and weight alone do not establish that a bike will fit a particular rider.

How far and fast it is claimed to go
Razor lists a top speed of up to 19.9 mph (32 km/h), with up to five power levels. The product page gives two different maximum range claims: up to 16.6 miles (26.7 km) in electric mode and up to 30 miles (48.3 km) in pedal-assist mode. These are manufacturer claims; the cited product information does not establish the riding conditions behind them or provide independent verification.
For trip planning, treat the published range as an upper-bound specification rather than a guaranteed distance. The available information does not establish how the bike will perform on a particular route, grade, or ride.

Ride equipment and setup considerations
The listed equipment includes 20-inch pneumatic knobby tires, an adjustable air-sprung fork with lockout, and hydraulic disc brakes at both ends. The specification list identifies the components but does not establish comparative comfort or stopping performance without a ride test.
The fork needs a high-pressure bicycle suspension pump for adjustment, and Razor says that pump is not included. Check pump and fork compatibility before purchasing one. The bike includes a charger and requires some assembly.

Razor’s Rambler support page lists replacement guides for the battery, front and rear brake levers and calipers, charger port, controller, display/power switch, front wheel, rear wheel/motor, taillight, and throttle. The manual asks owners to have the 19-character product ID available when requesting assistance or replacement parts. Confirm fit with Razor using that ID rather than choosing a generic part based only on appearance.
Razor states that the Rambler TRL’s electrical system is certified compliant with UL 2849 by Guangdong UTL Co., LTD., which Razor identifies as an accredited testing lab. This is Razor’s statement about this model; it should not be generalized to other bikes.

How it differs from other Razor Ramblers
Razor’s model descriptions distinguish the TRL from the Rambler 20 and Rambler 16 by motor, wheels, and listed equipment. These are manufacturer-published descriptions, not independent performance comparisons.
| Model | Razor-listed motor | Wheel or equipment detail stated in the available model descriptions |
|---|---|---|
| Rambler TRL | 750 watts | 20-inch tires; adjustable air-sprung fork with lockout; hydraulic disc brakes front and rear |
| Rambler 20 | 500 watts | Lower displayed MSRP than the TRL, according to Razor’s model descriptions; exact price not stated here |
| Rambler 16 | 350 watts | 16-inch tires |
When comparing them, consider the intended route and riding position as well as motor and wheel specifications. Do not infer that the TRL rides more comfortably or stops better solely from its fork and brake descriptions.
Safety and where you can ride
Razor’s owner’s manual says it “absolutely recommends” that riders wear a proper helmet to minimize potential head injuries. It also tells riders to check and obey local laws and regulations governing where the Rambler TRL may be used. The manufacturer’s “Class 2” wording is not a blanket approval for every road, path, or trail; verify applicable rules before riding.
The manual warns of serious injury risks and advises against non-Razor parts because aftermarket components may not be compatible. Follow the manual’s setup, pre-ride, charging, maintenance, and troubleshooting guidance, and contact Razor with the product ID when parts or service questions arise.
