The Pembleton T24 is a four-wheel, vintage-inspired roadster built to order in Worcestershire. Its appeal is a distinctive mix of period looks, exceptionally low weight in Autocar’s tested V85, and modern mechanical equipment. It is a specialist, hand-built car rather than a mass-produced sports car—and current pricing and delivery timing need to be confirmed directly with Pembleton.
What is the Pembleton T24?
The T24 is Pembleton Motor Company’s four-wheel cycle car, individually handcrafted to order in Bayton, Worcestershire. It is not the company’s three-wheeled V-Sport; the two are separate models. Pembleton describes the T24 as a vintage-inspired car with modern engineering and convenience features. Pembleton’s T24 page presents it as a bespoke roadster rather than a conventional production-car alternative.
That distinction matters when weighing the T24 against more familiar sports cars. You are choosing a low-volume, hand-built vehicle whose character and build process are central to the proposition, not simply comparing engine output or equipment lists.
What does the T24 offer?
Modern mechanicals in a period-style package
Pembleton lists a fuel-injected, electronically managed V-twin, independent suspension and disc brakes. Its page also identifies adjustable seating and steering, charging sockets, and a lockable 200-litre boot. The manufacturer’s description establishes the equipment it cites, but not that every possible configuration is identical; confirm the specification of the car you would order.

V85 figures from Autocar’s test
Autocar’s 2026 review describes a tested T24 V85 with an 853 cc V-twin producing 78 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 59 lb ft at 5,000 rpm, paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. Autocar lists the example at 361 kg under “Kerb weight (DIN)” and also describes its dry weight as 361 kg. Treat that weight as the publication’s figure for its tested car, not a verified weight for every T24 specification. Read Autocar’s T24 V85 review and specification.
For that tested V85, Autocar estimates 0–62 mph in 6.3 seconds, a 100 mph top speed and 60 mpg. Those are Autocar’s estimates, not independently established results for every build or driving condition.

What is it like to drive?
Autocar describes the V-twin as an engine with strong character that becomes smoother as revs rise and pulls toward its stated 7,750 rpm redline. The same review says the steering is low-geared and requires work through tighter bends at speed, while the low centre of gravity helps the car maintain composed body control. These are that publication’s driving impressions, not guarantees of how every driver will experience the car.
The likely draw is involvement rather than effortless speed or everyday refinement. The light weight and distinctive engine are part of the appeal; the steering effort noted by Autocar is a practical consideration for anyone expecting a more conventional sports-car feel.

How much does the Pembleton T24 cost?
There is no reliable current price established by the available manufacturer page. Autocar’s 2026 review lists a £39,594 starting price and £42,474 for its tested T24 V85. Those are review-page reference prices, not a live quote or confirmation of today’s options and order costs. Ask Pembleton for the current price list and the exact specification being quoted.
How long do I have to wait for a Pembleton?
Pembleton’s historical wait-time guidance is inconsistent: its FAQ, dated 5 June 2025, gave a range of six to 24 months, tending around a year; a January 2025 wait-list article gave six to 18 months, also tending around a year. Neither figure should be treated as a current delivery promise. Request a dated estimate for the model and specification you want.

Specification, payment stages and warranty
Pembleton asks prospective buyers to consult its Buyer’s Guide and current pricing as part of the order process. Its terms describe a 12-month or 5,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first, beginning at handover and covering mechanical part failures under normal road use. The company also advertises a complimentary first service, with parts excluded, Owners’ Club membership, aftersales support, upgrades and spare parts. Registration and overseas orders
For non-UK orders, Pembleton says the customer is responsible for registration, local compliance, duties, taxes and related costs. Its terms offer a choice of a UK IVA test certificate and registration, or supply without those documents. UK government guidance on registering kit-built vehicles offers general context, but it does not determine the paperwork or eligibility of a particular T24 or establish its status in another country. Who is the T24 for?
The T24 is most compelling for a buyer who values a hand-built car, unusual V-twin character, light weight and vintage styling enough to accept the compromises and uncertainty that accompany a specialist order. Before comparing it with cars such as the Morgan Super 3 or Caterham Seven, consider more than headline power: price, weight, engine and transmission character, weather protection, comfort, storage, bespoke construction and availability all matter. Autocar lists those cars among the T24’s rivals, but its review does not establish a full head-to-head comparison.
The manufacturer sums up the appeal this way: “Every Pembleton is individually handcrafted to order, making ownership as much about the experience as the finished car.” That statement appears on Pembleton’s order page.
