What is the Nora METRO?
Reports identify the Nora METRO as a Pakistan-market compact electric vehicle in the L7 quadricycle category. Its appearance has been compared with the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire, particularly in the front and rear styling. That is a design comparison only: the available reports do not establish any Toyota engineering, platform, component supply or licensing connection.
At 3,900 mm long, according to Zamin, the Metro is substantially smaller than a full-size Alphard. Zamin also reports 14-inch alloy wheels. The coverage describes it as a compact minivan, not as a Toyota minivan or a vehicle mechanically related to one.
What specifications have been reported?
PakWheels published these figures in a pre-launch report dated September 16, 2026. They should be treated as reported claims: the reviewed sources do not provide a manufacturer specification sheet or independent vehicle test.

The reported 250–300 km figure is not a verified real-world range. Without a stated test cycle, conditions, or independent test, it cannot show how far the METRO will travel in a buyer’s use.
When was it unveiled, and can buyers order one?
PakWheels said Nora planned to launch the METRO and NEO at PAPS 2026, scheduled for September 18–20. Reports dated October 4, 2026 describe the METRO as introduced or unveiled. Those reports do not establish when customer deliveries begin or whether orders are open.

No confirmed retail price or buyer-order process is established by the available coverage. A PakWheels headline used the phrase “under Rs 30 lakh,” but that wording is not enough to establish an official selling price. Warranty terms, final homologated specifications, safety certification and independent range testing are also not established.
What Pakistan’s EV policy does—and does not—tell buyers
Pakistan’s National Electric Vehicle Policy 2025–30 sets a target for 30% of all new vehicles sold in Pakistan to be electric by 2030. The Government of Pakistan also projected annual fuel savings of 2.07 billion liters under the policy. These are national policy targets and projections, not a Metro sales forecast, a vehicle-specific subsidy or proof of the METRO’s eligibility for an incentive. The policy figures were published by the Government of Pakistan Press Information Department on June 19, 2025.
