Its controller and wiring kit is a separate purchase, and the manufacturer’s 2023 product sheet warns that the listed engines are “Not legal on pollution-controlled vehicles or vehicles registered for highway use.” The catalog listing is current as of October 8, 2026; it does not establish a new 2026 launch or a current dealer selling price.
What HEMI crate engines does Mopar list?
Mopar’s current Engine Accessories catalog features the Hellephant A30 alongside other crate HEMIs. It gives the A30’s output and MSRP, and also lists output figures for several other engines. The catalog’s lineup text and model enumeration do not align perfectly, so it is not a reliable basis for stating a definitive total number of current offerings. Catalog details and availability can change.

How the Hellephant A30 compares
The A30’s 1,000 hp puts it above the 807-hp Hellcrate Redeye in Mopar’s 2023 sheet. Mopar’s 2022 Direct Connection catalog describes the Hellephant 426 as producing 950 lb-ft, with 426 cubic inches, a 4.125-inch bore and a 4.0-inch stroke. Those specifications are from the 2022 catalog and should not be treated as a newly verified 2026 specification.
The current catalog also lists the Hellcrate Redeye at 807 hp and 717 lb-ft, a 6.2L supercharged crate HEMI at 707 hp and 650 lb-ft, and a 6.4L HEMI at 485 hp and 475 lb-ft. The 707-hp figure differs from the 717-hp Hellcrate figure in Mopar’s 2023 sheet; check the exact engine designation and current product details rather than treating those listings as interchangeable.
The controller kit is a separate item
The engine is not the complete conversion package. Mopar’s eStore lists Hellephant 426 SC Crate HEMI Non-E.O. Engine Kit, part 77072500AE, as a separate controller and wiring kit for the A30, and explicitly says the engine is sold separately. At the time the eStore page was accessed on October 8, 2026, it showed a $2,795 MSRP; verify current price and whether a newer part number has superseded it before ordering.
