Orders for the all-electric Mercedes-Benz GLC opened in Germany in October 2025, and Mercedes-Benz added two more German-market variants in June 2026. The U.S. model is listed for fall 2026 dealership arrival, while the official India listing reviewed does not show an electric GLC or confirm bookings. Availability and price therefore depend on the market.

What this means for Indian buyers
There is no basis in the reviewed official India listing to say that bookings are open in India, or to quote an India price. The absence of the electric model from that listing also does not prove that a dealer cannot accept an informal expression of interest or pre-booking. Confirm any such arrangement directly with Mercedes-Benz India or an authorized dealer before paying a deposit.
German-market variants and prices
Mercedes-Benz’s June 2026 German announcement lists a rear-wheel-drive GLC 250 electric and two all-wheel-drive models: the GLC 300 4MATIC electric and GLC 400 4MATIC electric. All prices below are German purchase prices including VAT, not prices for India or the United States.

What the German GLC 400 specification includes
The German-market GLC 400 4MATIC electric is listed with a 94 kWh usable battery, 360 kW peak power and 800 Nm peak torque. Its maximum AC charging power is 11 kW as standard or 22 kW with the optional equipment; maximum DC charging power is 330 kW. The same German specification lists combined energy use of 18.9–14.9 kWh/100 km for the GLC 400 4MATIC electric. It also lists 570 litres of luggage capacity, expandable to 1,740 litres, plus a 128-litre front trunk. Braked towing capacity is listed as 2,400 kg for the GLC 400 and GLC 300 4MATIC, and 2,200 kg for the rear-drive GLC 250. How the U.S. model differs
Mercedes-Benz USA identifies the vehicle as the 2027 GLC 400 4MATIC Electric, with a $63,500 MSRP in its April 2026 quick reference and projected dealership arrival in fall 2026. Its U.S. overview lists 483 hp and up to 350 miles of EPA range. Those are U.S.-market figures and are not directly interchangeable with the German model’s WLTP range or euro price. The U.S. quick reference also lists a 94 kWh usable battery, 590 lb-ft of torque, 20.1–61.4 cu ft of trunk capacity and a 4.5 cu ft frunk. These specifications apply to the U.S. vehicle, not necessarily to versions sold elsewhere. [Mercedes-Benz USA quick reference, April 2026]

- Ask the local Mercedes-Benz sales channel whether the electric GLC is formally orderable in your country and which variant is available.
- Get the local price, taxes, delivery estimate and deposit/refund terms in writing; German and U.S. prices do not establish an India price.
- Check the local homologated range and charging specification rather than relying on another market’s WLTP or EPA figures.
- For a home charger, confirm the vehicle’s local connector and charging configuration, and have the electrical installation assessed for the property and jurisdiction.
