Supercar collector Manny Khoshbin reportedly took delivery of his Bugatti Bolide at Bugatti Newport Beach. AUTOJOSH reported the handover on December 31, 2024, and The Flighter covered it on January 2, 2025. The reports describe a black car with blue accents, but Bugatti and Khoshbin have not independently confirmed the exact handover date or its claimed place in the U.S. arrival order in the sources available here.
What was reported about Khoshbin’s Bolide delivery?
AUTOJOSH reported that Khoshbin’s Bolide was delivered at Bugatti Newport Beach and described it as one of the 40 cars planned for production. The Flighter also reported the delivery and described black bodywork with blue accents. These are contemporaneous secondary reports, not a primary announcement from Bugatti or Khoshbin. The exact handover date and the claim that it was the second Bolide to reach the United States therefore remain unverified by the official materials cited here. Why is the Bugatti Bolide track-only?
Bugatti describes the Bolide as a racing vehicle designed for circuit use, not a car intended for public roads. That distinction is central to what makes it different from a road-going Bugatti: the Bolide’s purpose is track performance rather than normal street driving. Bugatti reiterated the track-only designation in its March 18, 2025 release about final shakedown testing. Bugatti’s release describes the car as not intended for public roads.
How many Bugatti Bolides were made, and what are its published specifications?
Bugatti announced a limited production run of 40 Bolides. Its April 2023 testing update published a production target of 1,600 PS and a dry weight of 1,450 kg. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent measurements. The same update discussed an experimental Bolide figure of 1,850 PS using 110-octane racing fuel; that experimental figure should not be mistaken for the production car’s stated output. Bugatti’s 2023 update also records the production plans and specifications.

Bugatti President Christophe Piochon said in the April 2023 release: “Never before has such a powerful engine been paired with an ultra-lightweight design to create a track car that delivers motorsport levels of performance.”
What does Bugatti say about driving the Bolide on track?
Bugatti has described a customer’s first Bolide track experience at Circuit of the Americas and said further official track events would follow in 2025. That supports the car’s circuit-focused purpose, but it does not establish that public bookings or current customer events are available. Bugatti’s account of the Circuit of the Americas experience covers the reported track outing.

Is there a LEGO Technic Bugatti Bolide?
