The available specifications support four examples, not an honest, verified list of ten: three urban or street-oriented models and one lightweight off-road bike. They serve different purposes, so the off-road model should not be treated as a street-commuter alternative.
Four lightweight electric motorcycles, compared fairly
“Range” is not one standardized number. City estimates, named test cycles and fixed-speed results describe different conditions. Weight figures also need their labels: curb or road-ready weight is not interchangeable with dry weight. The table keeps the available figures tied to their source, market and stated method.

Which one makes sense for street riding?
LiveWire S2 Del Mar: compare the road-speed figures, not just the city maximum
The Del Mar’s three range figures show how much the expected distance changes with the riding condition. For a route involving sustained faster travel, its combined-at-55-mph and sustained-55-mph results are more relevant than its city estimate. The listed charging windows also make it possible to compare partial top-ups with a full charge rather than treating “charging time” as a single number.

- DOT Certified: This motorcycle helmet is DOT approved, meeting U.S. regulatory standards. It features a sturdy ABS shell, combined with soft EPS foam and a skin-friendly liner
Can-Am Pulse: a clear urban fit, with a large gap between city and sustained-speed range
Can-Am labels its combined figure WMTC and separately reports sustained travel at 50 mph. Those values answer different questions; riders planning faster roads should not use the city maximum as their route-planning estimate. The Type 1 J1772 connector and stated Level 2 charge window are useful practical details when checking charging access.
BMW CE 02: light urban mobility, but check the exact configuration
BMW’s German data distinguish the 11 kW version from the 4 kW long-range configuration. The 95 km WLTP claim belongs to the latter with an optional second battery; it is not a range figure for every CE 02 configuration. Its urban positioning and configuration-specific data make it a useful lighter comparison, not a like-for-like substitute for a larger street motorcycle.

Why the Light Bee belongs in a separate category
The Light Bee X illustrates the lightweight end of electric off-road riding. Its retailer-listed distance is tied to a stated speed and should not be compared directly with city, WMTC or SAE J2982 figures for street-oriented bikes. More importantly, a dirt bike’s intended terrain and local road-registration status determine whether it can serve as a commuter at all. The cited Sur-Ron pages do not settle that question for every jurisdiction, so check the specific bike’s certification and your local rules before buying for road use.

- Match the range condition to your route. Look for city, test-cycle, or fixed-speed figures that resemble how and where you ride. Treat unlike methods as separate evidence, not as a leaderboard.
- Compare the same kind of weight. Prefer curb or road-ready measurements when available; do not mix them with dry weights.
- Check charging alongside distance. Confirm the connector, charging level and percentage window behind a time estimate, then verify that the charging equipment and supply are available where you park.
- Verify the exact market and trim. Model year, battery configuration and regional specifications can change the answer. A manufacturer page for one country does not establish local availability or road approval elsewhere.
- Separate battery capacity from usable range. A kWh figure alone does not tell you how far a bike travels under your speed, route, terrain and riding conditions.
These four examples can guide a comparison, but the evidence does not support ranking ten models on equivalent weight, range, charging and road-legal data. Choose first between a registered street motorcycle and an off-road platform; then compare only range claims with clearly stated methods and conditions.
