The Lamborghini Revuelto is a plug-in hybrid supercar that pairs a naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors. Lamborghini introduced it in 2023 as its first V12 plug-in hybrid HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle); the company says the system produces 1,015 CV combined and can drive all four wheels in fully electric mode.
How Lamborghini combines a V12 and electric motors
The Revuelto’s powertrain brings together a naturally aspirated V12, three electric motors and an eight-speed dual-clutch transverse gearbox. In Lamborghini’s description, the battery supplies the electric motors and enables fully electric driving. That makes the Revuelto a plug-in hybrid, not a battery-electric car: its V12 remains a central part of the system.
The layout is designed to combine the V12’s role in Lamborghini’s flagship with electric drive. Lamborghini says all-wheel drive is available even in fully electric mode, and lists 13 drive modes. The launch announcement does not give an electric-only range or charging time, so those figures cannot be established from the cited specifications.
Revuelto performance and engine specifications
Lamborghini lists 1,015 CV of combined output. Its current official pre-owned Revuelto page gives a 0–100 km/h time of 2.5 seconds, a maximum speed above 350 km/h and engine displacement of 6,498.5 cm³. These are manufacturer-published figures, not results from an independent road test.

Consumption and emissions are especially dependent on region and test procedure. Lamborghini’s pre-owned page cautions that applicable values can vary; its displayed figures should not be treated as universal or compared with figures from another market or test cycle.
What Lamborghini said about the V12’s place in the hybrid era
In the 2023 launch announcement, Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann called the Revuelto “a milestone in the history of Lamborghini” and “an important pillar in our Direzione Cor Tauri electrification strategy.” He also described the V12 as “an iconic symbol of our super sports heritage and history.” The Revuelto’s defining engineering choice reflects that message: electrification is added alongside the naturally aspirated V12 rather than replacing it.

What the published figures do—and do not—tell you
The manufacturer specifications establish the Revuelto’s claimed output and acceleration, but they are not independent measurements of performance on the road. The cited material does not establish a certified or real-world electric-only range, charging duration, real-world efficiency, or independent test results. A meaningful comparison with another electrified supercar would need equivalent evidence for the same market, model year and test procedure.
The cited official pages also do not establish a current purchase price. For price and availability, check with an authorized Lamborghini dealer in your market.
