Koenigsegg One:1 Sets 0-300-0 km/h Record in 17.95 Seconds

Koenigsegg says its One:1 completed the 0-300-0 km/h test in 17.95 seconds in July 2015, beating the company’s previous mark of 21.19 seconds, set by the Agera R in 2011. The test includes both accelerating from a standstill to 300 km/h and braking back to zero.

What Koenigsegg’s 0-300-0 record measures

The 0-300-0 km/h test is a combined acceleration-and-braking run: a car starts at rest, reaches 300 km/h, then brakes to a complete stop. Koenigsegg describes the One:1 run as “from zero to 300 km/h and then back to zero – a pure test of both acceleration and braking.” The 17.95-second figure is for the entire sequence, not acceleration to 300 km/h alone.

Koenigsegg’s reported 0-300-0 results

The company’s history shows three successive marks. Each time below is a manufacturer-reported result, not an independent measurement conducted for this article.

Year Car Reported time Details
2008 CCX 29.2 seconds Koenigsegg’s CCX model page names Horst von Saurma as the driver and Papenburg as the location.
2011 Agera R 21.19 seconds Koenigsegg identifies this as an improvement on the CCX result.
July 2015 One:1 17.95 seconds Koenigsegg says the One:1 cut more than three seconds from the Agera R mark.

Koenigsegg’s official history lists the sequence, while its CCX model page provides the earlier car’s driver and location. A corporate record-history PDF also lists the 2015 One:1 figure and preceding results.

Why the 0-300-0 figure is not a 0-400-0 record

Koenigsegg’s history also covers later 0-400-0 km/h milestones, including a result for the Jesko Absolut. Those use a different target speed and are a separate category. The One:1’s 17.95 seconds refers specifically to the 0-300-0 km/h sequence.

How to interpret the result

The published figures establish the progression of Koenigsegg’s own reported 0-300-0 marks. The company’s historical account does not, in the sources cited here, provide an independent measurement or a named witness for the One:1 run; treat 17.95 seconds as Koenigsegg’s reported result.
