How KETO phone-based car access works
Onekey’s Google Play listing and Apple App Store listing describe using a smartphone as a car key with “KETO H/W.” That means KETO is presented as an app-and-hardware system, not a phone app that automatically works with any car.
Onekey says the authenticated mobile key must be detected inside the car before the vehicle can start. The listings do not provide enough detail to determine the exact unlocking sequence, whether entry can happen passively, or what the driver must do at the door or ignition.
What Onekey says about security and sharing
Onekey describes Bluetooth communication protected with AES-GCM and a two-channel authentication method involving Bluetooth and an inaudible soundwave. These are vendor descriptions, not independent security test results or an audited assessment. The available information does not establish how the system performs under specific attack conditions.

The listings also describe sharing access with family or friends. They do not specify sharing limits, how a shared key is revoked, or whether the feature remains available in the current product.
Which cars and phones are compatible?
The located KETO app listings do not publish a supported vehicle make, model, or year list, installation instructions, or a current phone and operating-system compatibility matrix. Do not assume that KETO supports a particular vehicle or phone based on the app listing alone.

- SUGGESTION - The installation had better to be operated by the technician in automobile stores or formal automobile repair stores, rather than yourself.
For comparison, Google’s general digital car key guidance says that availability is limited to selected vehicles and markets, and that vehicle and device support varies. Google describes passive entry where supported, as well as a method that involves holding the phone near the door handle and placing it on the car’s key reader to start. Those instructions concern Google digital car keys; they do not show that KETO uses the same method or supports the same vehicles. Google advises checking compatibility with the vehicle manufacturer.
What to confirm before relying on KETO
Because the listings do not resolve compatibility or installation, get KETO-specific answers for your exact setup before buying hardware or depending on the phone as your only way into the car.

- Whether your vehicle’s exact make, model, year, and market are supported.
- Which phone models and operating-system versions work with the current app and hardware.
- What hardware installation requires, including whether a professional installer is needed.
- How unlocking and starting work, and what to do if the phone, app, or hardware is unavailable.
- How shared access is controlled and revoked, if sharing is offered for your setup.
- Whether KETO hardware, customer support, and a current sales channel are available.
Is KETO currently available?
The Google Play listing reports an update date of August 25, 2023, and Apple’s listing identifies an iPhone app. A historical Kickstarter campaign shows that KETO was presented as a smartphone-to-car-key product. These records do not confirm current hardware stock, active sales, or present-day customer support.
