The latest detailed NHRA update located says Force continues to deal with short-term-memory loss. It does not provide an independent medical prognosis or claim that he has made a complete recovery.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What fans should know about the crash footage and medical claims
The central facts are established by NHRA’s reports: an engine explosion, a 302-mph crash, impact with both guard walls, initial responsiveness, hospitalization, a traumatic brain injury and a prolonged recovery.
Those facts do not support claims that Force “walked away” from the crash, that being conscious ruled out a brain injury, or that he has fully recovered. They also do not justify a more specific medical prognosis than the updates provide. Force’s latest reported symptoms include short-term-memory loss, and the latest career decision is that he will not return to competitive driving.
