Which Touareg does this kit fit?
The package discussed here is specifically listed for the Touareg 7P R-Line, part of the second-generation Touareg family. JE DESIGN has separate product pages for other 7P versions and for the 2015 facelifted R-Line, so the generation name alone is not enough to establish fitment. What the R-Line body kit includes
JE DESIGN describes the R-Line set as six exterior pieces:
- Sports grille
- Front spoiler
- Front and rear wheel-arch kit
- Rear apron insert
- Tailgate panel
The manufacturer says the components are made from polyurethane (PU) or fibre-reinforced composite, are precisely fitted and supplied ready-primed. “Ready-primed” does not mean painted to match the vehicle; confirm paint and installation requirements with the seller or installer. Body parts versus other tuning options
The manufacturer’s R-Line page also presents upgrades beyond the body styling. They are related options, not evidence that every item comes in the widebody kit.

JE DESIGN’s R-Line page says it provides a parts certificate for each customized component and that the modified Touareg remains compliant with emissions rules. Those are manufacturer statements, not a substitute for checking installation, registration and emissions requirements that apply where the vehicle is used.

How the R-Line kit differs from JE DESIGN’s general 7P package
JE DESIGN also has a separate page for a general Touareg 7P widebody package. Its listed parts include a sports grille, front spoiler, wheel-arch kit, rear apron insert, roof spoiler and tailgate panel. That page says the kit was developed for standard, Chrome & Style, and Terrain-Style versions; it also describes retaining use of the tow hitch and preserving different Volkswagen tailpipe styles. These claims belong to that general 7P package and should not be assumed to apply to every R-Line body configuration. New Cars Buzz published the “Out Now” report on October 16, 2011. Its prices are historical reported figures, not current quotes or proof of present availability.

These amounts were reported by New Cars Buzz in its October 16, 2011 article. They do not establish a current price for the body kit or any listed option.
The 2011 article reported that the 4.2-litre TDI engine-management upgrade raised output from 340 hp to 410 hp and torque from 590 lb-ft to 686 lb-ft, with claimed 0–62 mph acceleration improving from 5.8 to 5.4 seconds. JE DESIGN’s R-Line page gives the torque figures as 800 Nm to 930 Nm and acceleration as 0–100 km/h in 5.8 to 5.4 seconds.
