That identification is secondary rather than confirmed by a green-specific manufacturer specification sheet. For a prospective buyer or collector, the practical distinction is between the family concept and the individual watch’s verified specification. The W16 automaton and inclined tourbillon are described in Jacob & Co.’s general Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon material. Exact green-variant dimensions, movement details, edition size, and materials beyond the reported sapphire case should be confirmed against its reference with the manufacturer.

The watch’s central spectacle is a mechanical engine-block automaton arranged to evoke Bugatti’s W16. Jacob & Co. says the 16 pistons fire during a 15-second animation. The maker’s description says the center crown winds the movement and automaton in opposite directions, while the right-hand crown activates the engine animation. The three crowns are positioned on the 6 o’clock side of the case; the left crown sets the time.

Jacob & Co.’s documented blue sapphire configuration is item BU210.80.AM.UB.B, with a rose-gold backplate; its listed specifications should not be transferred to the green watch.

It lists a 57.8 × 44.4 mm case, 21.5 mm height, and 30 m (3 atm) water resistance, and identifies that displayed configuration as a unique piece. These figures describe the blue sapphire/rose-gold-backplate listing only.
A separate clear-sapphire listing surfaced with a different item number and a seven-piece edition. That is another reason not to infer the green watch’s reference or production status from a neighboring colorway. The green version’s exact price, current availability, serial number, and production count are not established by the cited material.

How did the Jacob & Co.–Bugatti watch begin?
Bugatti announced the partnership’s first all-new timepiece on April 20, 2020, after nearly a year of development. Its announcement described a Chiron-inspired case and a W16 engine-block movement beneath a large sapphire crystal. The design translates the car’s engine and bodywork into a watch rather than reproducing the automobile’s performance in wearable form.
