Is the 2025 Chevy Corvette SUV real?
Chevrolet’s Corvette lineup page presents the Stingray, E-Ray, Z06 and ZR1 as Corvette variants; it does not list an SUV. That is evidence of what Chevrolet presents in its published lineup, not proof that GM could never develop one in the future.
Car and Driver’s Corvette SUV page discusses a possible future expansion of the brand and cites an unnamed source inside GM. It is secondary reporting, not a Chevrolet product announcement, and it does not establish a production model.
What has Chevrolet actually announced for 2025?
The 2025 Corvette ZR1 is a sports car
Chevrolet announced the 2025 Corvette ZR1 on July 25, 2024. The U.S. announcement describes a sports car powered by a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged LT7 V8 producing 1,064 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 828 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm. Those are ZR1 specifications, not specifications for an SUV. Chevrolet said: “Corvette ZR1 will enter production in 2025 and will be built at General Motors’ Bowling Green Assembly Plant in Kentucky.” Chevrolet’s ZR1 announcement does not announce a Corvette SUV.

The owner manual does not document an SUV
GM’s 2025 Corvette owner manual documents the Corvette model covered by that manual. It is not evidence of an SUV model or an SUV-specific manual.
Are the Corvette CX concepts SUVs?
No. Chevrolet announced the Corvette CX and CX.R concepts in 2025 as design studies, not production vehicles. GM said: “While not intended for production, the pair will serve as inspiration to inform Corvette design language for years to come.” The concepts therefore should not be treated as confirmation of a production Corvette SUV. GM’s concept announcement speaks to those two concepts; it does not establish or rule out every possible future Corvette product.

What is known about a Corvette SUV’s release date, price and specs?
The reviewed official sources do not announce a Corvette SUV, so they also provide no confirmed release date, price, trims, engine, performance figures or production details for one. Any online renderings, video, proposed engine, price estimate or launch date should be treated as speculation unless Chevrolet or GM confirms it.
