Yes. Kawasaki has officially announced the 2027 KX327, a full-size, two-stroke motocross bike, along with a cross-country version called the KX327X. The models share a newly developed 327 cm³ fuel-injected two-stroke engine, but differ in gearing, rear-wheel size and intended use. Kawasaki’s timing and pricing vary by market, so the release date is not a single worldwide date.
What Kawasaki announced
Kawasaki UK confirmed the news on June 2, 2026, saying: “So the waiting is nearly over and the rumours are true, Kawasaki IS making two stroke adult enduro and motocross machines.” The company named the track-focused motocross bike the KX327 and its cross-country sibling the KX327X. Both are presented as 2027 models. Kawasaki UK’s announcement is the source for the model details below.
The KX327 is distinct from Kawasaki’s KX112, KX85 and KX65 two-stroke minibikes, which are youth motocross models announced separately. Kawasaki’s minibike announcement covers those smaller bikes.

These are Kawasaki-published configurations, not a test-based ranking. The extra gear and smaller rear wheel distinguish the X model on paper, but they do not by themselves establish which bike is faster or better suited to a particular rider.

What Kawasaki says about the engine
Both bikes use a newly developed 327 cm³ liquid-cooled, fuel-injected two-stroke single-cylinder engine, according to Kawasaki. The company also lists electric starting, dual injection, selectable power modes, an exhaust power valve and a single-shaft engine balancer. These are manufacturer specifications and descriptions; they are not independent performance findings.
Kawasaki specifies a 32:1 premix fuel-to-oil ratio. That makes premix oil a relevant running consumable, but the announcement does not endorse a particular oil brand.

When will the bikes be available, and what will they cost?
There is no single launch date to apply to every market. Kawasaki UK lists availability from January 2027 and gives pricing as TBC. Kawasaki Heavy Industries’ corporate announcement says the US and other launch markets would begin receiving the models from June 2, 2026, US time, while the KX327X was scheduled around winter 2026 in Japan. Dates are market-specific; check local Kawasaki or dealer listings for current availability and pricing.

Kawasaki’s announcement establishes the models and their listed specifications, but it does not provide independent performance testing, sales figures or a brand recommendation for premix oil. Riders should treat claims about how the bikes perform as unverified until there are independent tests or on-track experience.
