No Kawasaki Eliminator-based scrambler has been announced in the official information reviewed as of 8 October 2026. Kawasaki has confirmed the Eliminator 500 as a cruiser in its 2027 European range, while its separately announced KLE500 is the brand’s adventure-style 500-class model. The idea of an Eliminator scrambler may sound plausible beside Honda’s CL500, but Kawasaki has not confirmed such a project.
What Kawasaki has confirmed for 2027
In its 3 September 2026 announcement, Kawasaki listed the Eliminator 500 and KLE500 in its 2027 European road-bike range, including SE and Edition versions. The Eliminator remains a cruiser
Kawasaki describes the Eliminator as a mid-weight cruiser. Its 2027 model information presents a long, low design, a Ninja-derived parallel-twin engine, an 18-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel. The KLE500 is Kawasaki’s confirmed adventure-oriented option
Kawasaki positions the KLE500 for adventure riding, including touring and weekend trail use. The 2027 announcement gives it a 16-litre fuel tank and 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. It is a separate model—not an Eliminator scrambler. Kawasaki’s 2027 European range announcement

Why the Honda CL500 comparison comes up
Honda sells a motorcycle that fits the street-scrambler comparison more directly. Its global 23YM launch announcement describes the CL500 as a 471cc, A2-friendly parallel twin rated at 35 kW and 43.3 Nm, with a 19-inch front wheel, a 17-inch rear wheel, long-travel suspension and block-pattern tires. Honda says it is intended for commuting, longer weekend rides and some light off-road use. Local versions and naming can differ. Honda Philippines’ 31 May 2023 announcement called its model the CL500 and listed 33.8 kW and 43.3 Nm, plus a suggested retail price of PHP 409,000. In the United States, American Honda’s 2023 brochure uses the name SCL500 and describes a street-scrambler-style motorcycle based on the Rebel 500 engine. It lists a 19-inch front wheel, a 17-inch rear wheel and ABS, and notes more than twenty accessories. The available official descriptions support a comparison of intended use and configuration, not a riding-test verdict. There is no announced Kawasaki scrambler here to compare directly with Honda’s street-scrambler model.

What this means if you are choosing between them
For a Kawasaki with confirmed trail-oriented intent in the 2027 European lineup, the KLE500 is the relevant model to investigate. The Eliminator 500 is Kawasaki’s cruiser offering. For Honda’s street-scrambler proposition, check the local CL500 or SCL500 listing for the correct name, equipment, price and availability in your market. Dealer stock and prices can change, so verify them locally.
Honda’s materials also mention genuine accessories, but specific accessory fitment and availability depend on market and model year. The US brochure lists examples such as a saddlebag, headlight visor, hand-guard deflectors and an accessory socket; verify compatibility with the exact motorcycle before buying.
