Best answer for 2027: check the official 24 Hours of Le Mans and FIA WEC broadcast pages during race week. The 2026 free options are useful indicators, not guarantees of 2027 availability.
The best documented free options from 2026
France: L’Équipe
For the 2026 race, L’Équipe was identified as a French free-to-air broadcaster. Its coverage included the race and Thursday’s Hyperpole, making it the strongest documented free full-race route in the research.
The important limitation is geography. L’Équipe is a France-based service, and its online availability outside France should not be assumed. A French television broadcast also does not automatically mean that an unrestricted international livestream is available.

As with any sports broadcast, the rights can be split between television and online services, and online access may depend on location or account eligibility. Confirm the current RTBF/Auvio listing close to the 2027 event.

For 2027, wait for the current U.S. rights announcement before choosing a service. The 2026 arrangement is useful context, but it does not prove that the same channels, packages, or free promotional access will apply to the next race.

24 Hours radio
The Le Mans site also lists 24 Hours radio as an event-following option. Radio is particularly useful for the overnight portion of the race, pit-stop strategy, safety-car periods, and incidents that may not be shown in a short highlights package.
