Book through BGauss’s official Test Ride page, then confirm the local dealer’s process, available model and test-ride conditions before you travel. During the ride, focus on fit, low-speed control, braking feel, comfort on familiar surfaces and whether the exact variant’s features suit your daily use. A manufacturer’s range or speed figure is useful context, but it cannot tell you how the scooter will work for your route and riding habits.
How to book a BGauss test ride
Start with BGauss’s Test Ride page. The page asks for a first name, email ID, pincode and phone number, followed by a “Send OTP” button and a field for entering the code. It also displays select controls, but the labels and choices are not clear from the page information available here; do not assume a particular sequence or that every location sees the same options.

- Open the official form. Go to the Test Ride page and enter the requested contact details and pincode.
- Request and enter the OTP. Use “Send OTP,” then enter the code in the verification field.
- Complete the remaining form selections. Check the options shown on your screen and choose the relevant dealer and vehicle if those choices appear. The form’s visible select controls do not establish a universal set of labels or steps.
- Check for confirmation. Save any booking confirmation or dealer contact details shown. If the page does not make the appointment, dealer or model clear, contact the selected dealership before setting out.
BGauss’s Bengaluru page gives a more specific city-level instruction: select the nearest dealer and preferred vehicle model through “Book a Test Ride,” and register to complete the booking. That instruction is for Bengaluru. Riders in other places should use the official form and verify the local dealer’s process rather than assume the Bengaluru workflow applies nationwide.

What to confirm with the dealer before travelling
A submitted form is not evidence that a particular scooter is physically available for a ride at a particular time. Availability can depend on the dealer and the variant. Call or message the selected dealership to confirm the details that matter to your visit:

- Which exact model and variant will be available, and whether it is the variant you want to assess.
- Whether you need to book a time, and how the dealer will confirm the appointment.
- What licence, age, identity-document or other eligibility requirements apply.
- Whether a guardian, deposit or other condition applies in your circumstances.
- How long the ride lasts, what route is used, and which manoeuvres are permitted.
- Whether a passenger can accompany you or ride with you, if two-up use is important to your decision.
- Whether the scooter’s battery is removable on the exact model being shown, if you need to carry it indoors to charge.
The official booking information does not establish a licence or age rule, identity-document requirement, guardian requirement, deposit, guaranteed appointment slot, test-ride duration or route. These are dealer questions, not details to infer from the booking form.
Which BGauss models and variants to compare
The Bengaluru page presents the BG RUV 350 and BG MAX C12 as models to explore. It promotes the RUV 350 as having an all-metal body and 16-inch alloy wheels, and describes a 774 mm seat for the MAX C12. Treat those statements as product information to check against the scooter in front of you, not independent proof of ride quality or confirmation that every local dealer has either model ready to ride.
A Bgauss Auto Pvt Ltd specification sheet dated May 2025 lists three C12 variants. Its figures are manufacturer-published specifications, not independently measured results:

The sheet lists tubeless tyres for the C12 variants shown. It includes other variant differences, so ask the dealer to identify the precise variant rather than relying on “C12” as if it meant a single configuration. The listed range is a certification figure; it is not a promise of the distance you will achieve on your route. The sheet supplies no independent performance test or real-world range comparison.
What to evaluate during the ride
Use a safe route and follow the dealer’s instructions. The checks below are practical rider-evaluation advice based on the kinds of decisions the published features and specifications raise; they are not claims that a particular scooter has passed an independent test.
Fit, posture and passenger space
Before moving, sit in your normal riding position. Check whether your feet reach the ground comfortably, whether the handlebar position feels natural and whether the seat supports you without forcing an awkward posture. If you expect to carry a passenger, assess the available passenger space and ask whether a two-up ride is permitted. The 774 mm seat-length figure on the May 2025 C12 sheet is a dimension, not a guarantee that the seat will feel comfortable to you or your passenger.

Balance and low-speed manoeuvring
In a suitable open area, assess how the scooter responds to a controlled start, a slow turn and a U-turn. Notice steering effort, balance at walking pace and how easy it is to stop and set off smoothly. These movements are particularly useful if your regular parking area or commute includes tight turns. Do not attempt a manoeuvre the dealer has not permitted or that cannot be done safely in the available space.
Throttle response and braking feel
Pay attention to how predictably the scooter accelerates from a stop and whether you can modulate its speed without abruptness. At a safe, low speed and in a clear area, check whether the brakes feel progressive and controllable. The specification sheet lists a nominal maximum speed and brake configuration, but neither can substitute for a safe personal assessment. Do not try to reproduce the published maximum speed on a test ride; ask the dealer which route and checks are allowed.
Suspension and stability on relevant surfaces
If the approved route includes different surfaces, notice how the scooter behaves over the kinds of roads you actually use. Consider comfort, stability and whether the ride feels manageable over ordinary imperfections. BGauss’s Bengaluru page markets the RUV 350 for rough roads and describes its wheels and tyres. Those are promotional product claims, not independent findings; your ride can help you decide whether the scooter feels suitable on the surfaces you encounter.

Controls, display and variant-specific features
Check whether the display is legible from your riding position and whether the indicators and other controls are easy to locate and operate. If the variant offers riding modes or connected features, ask the dealer to show you how they work and check the functions on the actual scooter. Do not assume that a feature available on one variant is included on another: the manufacturer specification sheet identifies variant differences, and the family name alone does not settle the equipment question.
Parking, storage and daily handling
If the dealer permits it, try parking and moving the scooter at low speed, and check the stand operation. Look at storage access and whether the footboard and seat arrangement work with the items you normally carry. Ask specifically whether the battery is removable on the exact model and variant offered; do not assume that battery arrangements are shared across the product family.

A test ride is most useful when you judge the scooter against your own use rather than a generic idea of performance. Before you go, identify the conditions that would make the purchase workable or impractical:

- Route: Consider the distance and types of roads you use. Treat the C12’s listed 123 km ARAI-certified range as a comparison figure, not a forecast for your commute.
- Charging: Think about where you can charge. If your plan depends on removing the battery to charge it indoors, verify that feature on the exact scooter.
- Riders and load: Consider your height, regular passenger use and the weight you expect to carry. The C12 sheet lists a 150 kg standard payload for the variants shown; confirm the figure for the exact model you are considering and account for your intended load.
- Parking and access: Decide whether the scooter’s fit and low-speed handling seem manageable in your actual parking space, building access or regular stop-and-go traffic.
- Local support: Ask who will support the scooter locally and how the dealer handles service enquiries. A comfortable ride does not answer questions about ongoing dealer support.
Use the ride to test what can be felt directly—fit, control, visibility and comfort—and use the dealer’s answers or written specifications for facts that cannot be verified in a short ride, such as exact variant equipment or charging arrangements. If a key point remains unclear, treat it as an unresolved purchase question rather than filling the gap with an assumption.
After the ride: make a useful comparison
As soon as you finish, record the exact model and variant, the dealer, the ride conditions and your observations. Separating what you experienced from what the manufacturer publishes helps prevent a specification from being mistaken for a personal result.
- Write down what felt comfortable or awkward about the riding position and seat.
- Note how the scooter behaved during the permitted starts, stops and turns.
- Record the surface conditions and whether they resembled your normal roads.
- List any features the dealer demonstrated and identify the variant on which they were shown.
- Keep manufacturer figures, dealer answers and your impressions in separate notes.
- Ask for clarification on any unresolved issue that affects your decision, including local availability and the dealer’s current booking or test-ride conditions.
