There is no dependable one-size-fits-all annual price for maintaining a used Mercedes-Benz GLE. The bill depends on its model year, trim and powertrain, mileage, service history, location, and whether the next visit is scheduled maintenance or work to fix a problem. Published estimates can help set context, but they are not a quote for your vehicle.
For a meaningful estimate, identify the exact GLE and ask a Mercedes-Benz dealer or qualified Mercedes specialist to price its next scheduled service separately from any recommended repairs and wear items. The figures below show why those details matter.

What the cost estimates do—and do not—tell you
Two published estimates illustrate how much the answer changes with the estimator and what it counts. Edmunds’ model-year 2025 examples separate maintenance from repairs over five years. CarEdge gives a combined five-year maintenance-and-repair estimate. These are publisher estimates, not prices quoted for a particular used GLE, and the categories are not interchangeable.

| Source and vehicle example | Five-year maintenance | Five-year repairs | What the number represents |
|---|---|---|---|
| Edmunds, modeled 2025 GLE 350 4MATIC | $9,819 | $3,210 | Separate estimates for maintenance and repairs; Edmunds describes the tool as comparative, not predictive. |
| Edmunds, displayed 2025 GLE 450 4MATIC | $11,027 | $3,210 | Separate estimates for maintenance and repairs; this is a new-model configuration example, not a used-car quote. |
| CarEdge, GLE 350 | $4,791 combined | Five-year estimate including scheduled maintenance, normal wear items, and expected repairs; free warranty work is excluded. | |

Edmunds’ estimates assume 15,000 miles driven per year. Its method also says that, for a used vehicle, it applies a nominal age based on the current calendar year and assumes 15,000 miles in each year. Edmunds says actual costs depend on personal circumstances. The figures above are from the estimator pages accessed in 2026; no publication year was stated for those estimates.
#1 Best Overall
- Accurate, Dependable Readings: Factory‑calibrated to ±1 PSI, so you can confidently match your vehicle’s recommended PSI (check the door jamb sticker). Ideal for monthly checks and road trips — consistent results every time, cold or warm.
- Bright Backlit Display & Nozzle Light: The illuminated nozzle helps you find the valve stem in the dark, while the backlit LCD makes readings crystal clear in dim garages or at night. No more squinting or holding a flashlight.
- 4 Measurement Units, One Button: Quickly switch among PSI, Bar, Kgf/cm², and KPA with a single press. No complex settings — just press and cycle to your preferred unit. Perfect for drivers who need multiple scales.
- Broad Compatibility for Everyday Vehicles: 0–150 PSI covers cars, SUVs, motorcycles, and spare tires (often 60 PSI). Fits standard Schrader valves; just press on for a reading.
- Auto‑Off to Extend Battery Life: The gauge automatically powers down after 30 seconds of inactivity, so the included 2*AAA batteries last longer. Always ready for your monthly checks without surprise dead batteries.
CarEdge describes the included categories and says region, driving, and care affect costs. Its mileage assumption is not stated in the reviewed estimate. The estimate pages were accessed in 2026, and no publication year was stated. Do not average CarEdge’s combined figure with Edmunds’ separate maintenance and repair figures: they use different categories and methods, so an average would imply a comparability that is not established.
These examples are useful as context, not as a prediction for an older or differently equipped GLE. They do not establish what your next service will cost, how much a particular repair will cost, or a universal yearly allowance. In particular, a five-year estimator output should not be treated as a local service price or divided into a guaranteed annual bill.
What Mercedes-Benz schedules for routine service
Mercedes-Benz USA describes the first Service A visit at approximately 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. Its guidance then describes service at approximately every 20,000 miles or two years. The manufacturer says Service B is due at approximately 20,000 miles or one year after the previous service, and then approximately every 20,000 miles or two years. The intervals are approximate; the maintenance reminder and the service booklet for the exact vehicle should guide the owner.

- PROCESS LEVEL ACCURACY: Each ETENWOLF’s digital tire pressure gauge is calibrated manually to ANSI B40.7 Grade 2A(plus-minus 1 PSI).Presta valve adapter not included, if used for bicycles, it must be purchased separately
- ACCURACY IN EXTREME PRESSURE RANGE: Whether tire pressure is below 12 PSI or above 140 PSI, ETENWOLF’s digital tire gauge is accurate as well
- ACCURACY IN EXTREME WEATHER: Built-in AI chip with thermal compensation inside, ETENWOLF’s tire gauge works normally even in extreme cold or hot weather(-4°F-130°F/-20°C-54°C)
- PRESSURE RANGE 3-200 PSI : ETENWOLF’s digital tire pressure gauge can measure pressure of all types of vehicles
- REPLACEABLE AAA BATTERIES: Batteries are easy to replace and helps to extend the tire pressure gauge’s life span, with LED light to illuminate dark areas for easy tire pressure reading
The schedule alternates Service A and Service B, but the GLE name alone does not identify the car’s exact year or powertrain. Confirm the applicable maintenance schedule rather than assuming that a generic interval or list fits every used GLE.
Service A
Mercedes-Benz USA lists these Service A tasks:
- Replace the Mercedes-Benz motor oil and oil filter.
- Check and correct fluid levels.
- Check and correct tire inflation.
- Inspect brake components.
- Reset the maintenance counter.
The exact visit can depend on what the vehicle’s maintenance reminder calls for and its applicable service documentation. A tire-pressure check is part of the listed service; the correct pressure for the vehicle should come from its placard or manual.
Service B
Service B includes the oil and filter replacement, fluid-level checks, tire-inflation check, and brake-component inspection listed for Service A. Mercedes-Benz USA also lists replacement of the cabin dust/combination filter and a brake-fluid exchange, followed by resetting the maintenance counter.

A used vehicle’s upcoming costs are determined by its own service history and present condition, not just by a model-level estimate. Mileage and time both matter under the approximate manufacturer schedule, while local labor and parts prices affect the price a shop quotes. Trim and powertrain also matter when selecting an appropriate comparison: Edmunds’ published examples are specifically a 2025 GLE 350 4MATIC and a displayed 2025 GLE 450 4MATIC, not every GLE sold used.
It also matters what a cost label includes. Scheduled maintenance is planned service. Repairs address diagnosed faults; wear items may be included in some estimates but not others. Edmunds reports maintenance and repairs separately, while CarEdge combines scheduled maintenance, normal wear items, and expected repairs, excluding free warranty work. Neither publisher’s figure is the same thing as a written estimate for your car.

Finally, maintenance and repair estimates are not total ownership costs. They do not answer a separate question about fuel, insurance, financing, taxes, or depreciation. Keep those categories distinct when building a vehicle budget rather than describing a maintenance estimate as the total cost to own a GLE.
How to get a useful estimate for the GLE you are considering
- Identify the vehicle. Gather its VIN, model year, trim or powertrain, current mileage, and location. These details let a shop and an estimator distinguish your vehicle from the broad GLE name.
- Check the correct documentation. Review invoices and service records against the maintenance and warranty booklet for that year and powertrain. Mercedes-Benz USA’s manuals index organizes documents by model year, so use the documentation for the specific vehicle rather than relying on a generic schedule.
- Establish what is due next. Check the maintenance reminder and compare it with the records. Ask whether the next visit is Service A, Service B, or another item specified for that vehicle. If records are incomplete, say so; do not assume an overdue service was completed.
- Request an itemized estimate. Ask a Mercedes-Benz dealer or qualified Mercedes specialist to separate scheduled service, diagnosed repairs, and wear items. Have the shop list the work and price each category, rather than giving only a blended figure.
- Ask what the estimate assumes. Confirm that it applies to the correct year and powertrain, reflects your location, and identifies whether any work is covered by warranty. If you are comparing estimates, make sure both shops are pricing the same scope of work.
- Use a pre-purchase inspection when buying. Have the vehicle inspected and request an itemized estimate for deferred work before purchase. Compare the inspection findings and invoices with the service schedule; an apparently low general maintenance estimate cannot reveal unrecorded service or a diagnosed problem.
The reviewed estimates do not establish a local price for any of these steps. A shop must assess the exact car and its due work to provide that figure.

How to compare published estimates fairly
Before relying on a cost figure, check what vehicle and time period it describes and what is inside the total. The following questions expose the main differences:
Best Value
- Digital Tire Pressure Gauge 2 Pack, Industrial Tire Gauge 3-200 PSI, Calibrated to ANSI B40.7 Grade 2A(plus-minus 0.5%), Air Pressure Gauge with Replaceable AAA Batteries
- Is it the same year, trim, and powertrain? A modeled 2025 GLE 350 4MATIC is not automatically a fair proxy for an older GLE or a different configuration.
- What is the time horizon and mileage? Edmunds states a 15,000-mile annual assumption; CarEdge’s mileage assumption is not stated in the reviewed estimate.
- Does it cover service alone or service plus other costs? Edmunds separates maintenance and repairs. CarEdge combines maintenance, wear items, and expected repairs.
- How is warranty work handled? CarEdge says free warranty work is excluded. Do not presume another estimator treats warranty work the same way unless its method says so.
- Is the amount an estimator or a quote? An online estimate is a comparison aid. A written local estimate based on the VIN, service record, and inspection is the more relevant figure for a purchase or upcoming visit.
When a table or calculator does not state an assumption, treat it as unknown rather than filling in a likely-sounding number. A precise-looking total is not necessarily a precise forecast for your vehicle.
Common budgeting mistakes to avoid
- Using one annual number for every used GLE. This hides differences in year, powertrain, mileage, history, local prices, and what is due next.
- Confusing Service A with Service B. The manufacturer lists additional tasks for Service B, including cabin-filter replacement and brake-fluid exchange.
- Combining unlike estimates. A maintenance-only figure and a total that includes repairs and wear items do not measure the same category.
- Assuming an estimator is a service quote. Publisher estimates are not an itemized assessment of your car’s current condition.
- Ignoring missing records or deferred work. Ask for documentation and an inspection; do not count unverified work as completed.
- Calling maintenance the full cost of ownership. Keep service and repair estimates separate from fuel, insurance, financing, taxes, and depreciation.
What to take away for your own budget
The available estimates show that published GLE cost figures can differ substantially in both the vehicle example and the categories counted. They do not establish a universal annual cost for a used Mercedes-Benz GLE. To budget for a particular one, start with its VIN, model year, trim, mileage, location, reminder, and records; then obtain a local itemized estimate for the next scheduled service and any separately diagnosed work.
