For a U.S. buyer paying cash, the 2026 Tesla Cybertruck starts at $69,990 for the Dual Motor AWD. After Tesla’s reported $1,995 destination charge and $250 order fee—but before sales tax, title, registration, and optional equipment—the approximate cash totals are:
| Trim | Advertised vehicle price | Approx. price before tax and registration* | EPA-estimated range | 0–60 mph |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dual Motor AWD | $69,990 | $72,235 | 325 miles | 4.1 seconds |

*Calculated as vehicle price + $1,995 destination charge + $250 order fee. These are not out-the-door prices. Sales tax, title, registration, documentation or delivery-related charges, options, and other official fees can change the final amount.
The current U.S. 2026 lineup has three trims: Dual Motor AWD, Premium AWD, and Cyberbeast. The previously offered rear-wheel-drive Cybertruck is not the current base model in this lineup.

What you actually pay when buying a Cybertruck with cash
Paying cash removes interest and loan charges, but it does not make the advertised vehicle price the final amount due. A practical estimate is:
Vehicle price + destination charge + order fee + options + applicable taxes and official fees.
- Dual Motor AWD: $69,990 + $1,995 + $250 = $72,235 before tax and registration.
- Premium AWD: $79,990 + $1,995 + $250 = $82,235 before tax and registration.
- Cyberbeast: $99,990 + $1,995 + $250 = $102,235 before tax and registration.
Your state and local sales tax can add several thousand dollars. Title and registration costs vary by location and may also be affected by the vehicle’s price or weight. Optional equipment increases the total further. Tesla’s ordering process displays applicable sales tax and registration fees in the Tesla app during final payment, so the configurator—not the advertised price alone—is the place to confirm your actual amount.
2026 Cybertruck Dual Motor AWD: $69,990
The Dual Motor AWD is the least expensive current Cybertruck. Its approximate cash price before tax and registration is $72,235 after the destination and order fees.
- Powertrain: dual-motor all-wheel drive
- Range: EPA-estimated 325 miles
- 0–60 mph: 4.1 seconds
- Maximum towing capacity: 7,500 pounds
- Seating: five adults
- Display: 18.5-inch center screen
- Wheels: 18- or 20-inch availability, depending on configuration
This is the trim to consider if the priority is the lowest current Cybertruck cash price while retaining all-wheel drive, a 325-mile estimated range, and a quick 4.1-second claimed acceleration time. Its main limitation compared with the two more expensive trims is utility equipment—particularly its listed 7,500-pound towing rating rather than 11,000 pounds.
2026 Cybertruck Premium AWD: $79,990
The Premium AWD costs $10,000 more than Dual Motor AWD before destination, order fees, tax, and registration. Its approximate pre-tax cash total is $82,235.
- Powertrain: dual-motor all-wheel drive
- Range: EPA-estimated 325 miles
- 0–60 mph: 4.1 seconds
- Maximum towing capacity: 11,000 pounds
- Second-row display: 9.4 inches
- Wheels: 20-inch wheels listed for the trim
Premium AWD is not primarily a range or acceleration upgrade. Tesla’s listed range and 0–60-mph time are the same as those of the less expensive Dual Motor AWD. The extra $10,000 is principally buying additional cabin, suspension, towing, convenience, and utility equipment. That may make Premium AWD the more appropriate configuration for frequent towing or buyers who want more standard equipment, but it is not a faster or longer-range version based on the listed specifications.

- Powertrain: tri-motor all-wheel drive
- Range: EPA-estimated 320 miles
- 0–60 mph: 2.6 seconds
- Top speed: 130 mph
- Maximum towing capacity: 11,000 pounds
- Output: 845 horsepower
- Ground clearance: up to 16 inches in Extract Mode
- Wheels: 20-inch wheels listed for the trim
Cyberbeast costs $20,000 more than Premium AWD before fees and taxes. In exchange, it adds substantially stronger performance: Tesla lists a 2.6-second 0–60-mph time versus 4.1 seconds for both dual-motor trims. The Cyberbeast’s estimated range is actually five miles lower than the 325-mile estimate for Dual Motor AWD and Premium AWD. Tesla notes that the displayed acceleration figure includes rollout subtracted, so it should not be compared casually with every independently measured acceleration result.
The Cyberbeast’s $99,990 price is also $15,000 lower than the $114,990 price reported for the earlier 2025 configuration. That does not make it inexpensive, but it is an important reason older Cybertruck price articles may show a higher figure.
Trim-price differences at a glance
| Comparison | Price difference before fees | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Premium AWD vs. Dual Motor AWD | $10,000 | More equipment and towing capacity; listed range and acceleration remain the same |
| Cyberbeast vs. Premium AWD | $20,000 | Tri-motor performance, 845 horsepower, 2.6-second 0–60 mph, and up to 16 inches of ground clearance in Extract Mode |
| Cyberbeast vs. Dual Motor AWD | $30,000 | More performance and towing capacity, with a slightly lower listed range |
That makes the buying decision relatively clear on paper. Dual Motor AWD is the price-focused choice. Premium AWD is an equipment and towing upgrade rather than a speed or range upgrade. Cyberbeast is the performance choice. Whether each upgrade is worth the money depends on how often you will tow, which features you need, and whether extreme acceleration matters to you.
Options that can raise the cash price
The vehicle price does not include every accessory or capability a buyer might want. Examples listed in Tesla’s Cybertruck shop include:
| Accessory or equipment | Listed price |
|---|---|
| Cybertruck all-weather interior liners | $295 |
| Cybertruck bed textile mat | $200 |
| Cybertruck crossbars | $800 |
| Cybertruck off-road light bar | $1,950 |
| Cybertruck Terrestrial Armor Package | $3,500 |
| Powershare Home Backup Bundle | $1,970 before professional installation |
These prices are separate from the trim prices and may change. Confirm current availability, compatibility with your selected model year and trim, shipping, and installation requirements before adding them to your budget. For interior protection, buyers should also verify that any aftermarket Cybertruck floor mats or liners are specifically listed for the 2026 truck; a generic pickup-truck mat should not be assumed to fit.
What the Powershare Home Backup Bundle does
The $1,970 Powershare Home Backup Bundle is more than a cosmetic accessory. Tesla describes it as including a Universal Wall Connector and Powershare Gateway, with professional installation required. The equipment can allow a Cybertruck to provide backup power to a home.

Tesla estimates more than three days of backup power under stated usage assumptions, but that is not a guaranteed runtime for every house. Actual backup duration depends on household consumption, the vehicle’s state of charge, the home’s electrical configuration, weather and installation conditions. The installation cost is additional, so the delivered and installed cost will be higher than the $1,970 equipment price.
Outlet and towing differences matter more than the headline price
Trim selection affects capability as well as acceleration. Tesla lists the following distinctions:
- Towing: Dual Motor AWD is listed at up to 7,500 pounds, while Premium AWD and Cyberbeast are listed at up to 11,000 pounds.
- Power outlets: Dual Motor AWD and Cyberbeast have the listed 240-volt cargo-bed outlet and additional onboard outlets.
- Available outlet power: Tesla says those configurations can provide up to 9.6 kW through their outlets.
If you regularly tow a large trailer or need substantial mobile power, those specifications may justify looking beyond the least expensive trim. Check the trailer, payload, hitch, and local operating requirements rather than relying on the maximum rating alone.

Unless Tesla’s configurator specifically includes an item in your order total, budget separately for:
- Sales and use tax
- Title and registration
- Documentation, delivery-related, or other official fees where applicable
- Optional wheels, equipment, and accessories
- Home charging equipment and electrical work
- Powershare professional installation, if selected
- Insurance, maintenance, and electricity
The $72,235, $82,235, and $102,235 figures are therefore useful comparison points, not complete out-the-door quotes. Before sending payment, review the final Tesla order summary for your delivery location and configured vehicle.
Which 2026 Cybertruck trim makes sense?
Choose Dual Motor AWD if price is the priority
It is the least expensive current option and still offers 325 miles of EPA-estimated range, all-wheel drive, five-adult seating, and a 4.1-second listed 0–60-mph time. Its lower towing rating is the principal capability compromise.
Recommended Free Tools
Choose Premium AWD if you need more standard utility equipment
Premium AWD costs $10,000 more but keeps the same listed range and acceleration. It is easier to justify for buyers who need the 11,000-pound towing rating or prefer its additional cabin and equipment features.
Rank #4
Choose Cyberbeast if performance is the reason you want a Cybertruck
The Cyberbeast commands a $30,000 premium over Dual Motor AWD and a $20,000 premium over Premium AWD. Its justification is performance and tri-motor capability—not additional range. Its 320-mile estimate is slightly below the 325-mile estimate of both dual-motor versions.
Before you place a cash order
- Start with the trim price: $69,990, $79,990, or $99,990.
- Add the published $1,995 destination charge and $250 order fee for a basic pre-tax estimate.
- Add only the options you actually need, including charging, cargo, off-road, or home-backup equipment.
- Check your state and local tax, title, and registration estimate in Tesla’s final-payment flow.
- Verify the selected truck’s current specifications, inventory, delivery timing, and availability immediately before purchase.
- Keep a buffer beyond the advertised price for installation, insurance, accessories, and location-specific charges.
