They do not substantiate a complete top ten or an objective ranking, so this article does not invent one. Instead, it compares what the official material establishes and explains why these bikes stand out on different measures of performance.
What “extreme” means here
For a useful comparison, “extreme” should describe measurable traits rather than serve as an unsupported ranking. Relevant measures include engine capacity and published output, peak torque, weight, chassis and braking equipment, and the riding or touring features that shape how performance is delivered. Manufacturer specifications are not independent test results; figures can also vary by market and model year.
The official sources available for these examples do not give consistent specifications for all three motorcycles. In particular, the Indian material confirms the 2024 model and its positioning but does not provide enough comparable output, weight, or brake data to rank it against the other two.
Three 2024 candidates, compared
| Motorcycle | Published engine figures | Other established details | Evidence limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ducati Diavel V4 | 1,158 cc V4; 168 hp (124 kW) at 10,750 rpm; 126 Nm (93 lb-ft) at 7,500 rpm, according to Ducati’s US specification page. | Ducati lists wet weight without fuel at 223 kg, a 790 mm seat, 240/45 ZR17 rear tire, monocoque aluminum frame, adjustable suspension, and Brembo Stylema front calipers with cornering ABS. | Ducati says equipment and specifications may vary by market. Its acceleration claim is a manufacturer claim, not an independent test. |
| Triumph Rocket 3 Storm R and GT | 2,458 cc inline-three; 180 bhp (134 kW) at 7,000 rpm; 225 Nm (166 lb-ft) at 4,000 rpm, according to Triumph’s specification page. The page gives the same headline engine figures for R and GT. | Triumph lists a six-speed gearbox, shaft drive, aluminum frame, and 240/50 R16 rear tire. The 2024 Storm material describes lean-angle-sensitive ABS and traction control, throttle maps, cruise control, and four riding modes. | Use the appropriate local-market page for a specific model-year configuration. Emissions and fuel-use claims depend on jurisdiction and test conditions. |
| Indian Sport Chief | Not stated in the reviewed official sources in a form sufficient for this comparison. | Indian’s official archive confirms a 2024 Sport Chief; Indian describes it as a performance-oriented Chief. | The reviewed sources do not establish comparable output, weight, or brake specifications. |
Ducati Diavel V4: sport-derived performance
Ducati positions the Diavel V4 between sport nakeds and muscle roadsters. Its 1,158 cc Granturismo V4 is the smallest of these two documented engines by displacement, but Ducati’s published 168 hp and 126 Nm figures put it firmly in high-output territory. The listed 223 kg wet weight excludes fuel, so it should not be treated as a ready-to-ride weight.

- Engine Type (V-Twin, Air-Cooled, EFI) – A high-performance V-Twin engine with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) for smooth power delivery, fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions.
- Brakes (Front/Rear - Disc/Disc) – Equipped with dual hydraulic disc brakes for powerful, precise stopping capability in all road conditions.
- Fuel Economy (87 MPG) – Exceptional fuel efficiency, making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly choice.
- Dual Chrome Exhaust – A classic twin-pipe exhaust system that not only enhances aesthetics but also delivers a deep, aggressive sound signature.
- New Digital & Analog Display – A combination of modern digital precision with a classic analog touch, offering a stylish and functional instrument cluster.
The hardware helps explain the sport-oriented character: Ducati lists a monocoque aluminum frame, adjustable suspension, cornering ABS, and Brembo Stylema front calipers. The 240/45 ZR17 rear tire and 790 mm seat give additional context for its proportions and ergonomics, but neither by itself establishes handling performance.
Ducati claims the Diavel V4 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds. That is the manufacturer’s figure, not an independently verified comparison with the other motorcycles here. Ducati also says its counter-rotating crankshaft is intended to reduce gyroscopic effect.

Triumph Rocket 3 Storm: displacement and torque
The Rocket 3 Storm is the clear displacement and peak-torque outlier among the models with comparable official engine figures: Triumph lists a 2,458 cc inline-three producing 225 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Its published 180 bhp arrives at 7,000 rpm. These are manufacturer specifications, not comparative dynamometer results.
Rank #3
- FUEL-INJECTED PERFORMANCE – Advanced EFI system delivers smoother acceleration, easier cold starts, improved fuel economy, and consistent engine performance.
- 6-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION – Smooth-shifting gearbox provides excellent control, comfortable highway cruising, and an authentic riding experience.
- BEGINNER-FRIENDLY DESIGN – Low 29-inch seat height and relaxed cruiser ergonomics inspire confidence for new riders while remaining enjoyable for experienced motorcyclists.
- PREMIUM BRAKING SYSTEM – Dual front hydraulic disc brakes and rear hydraulic disc brake provide strong, predictable stopping power for added safety and control.
- CLASSIC CHOPPER STYLING – Chrome exhaust, stretched cruiser profile, aluminum alloy wheels, and full-size motorcycle presence deliver a bold, head-turning appearance.
Triumph lists both R and GT versions with the same headline engine figures, along with a six-speed gearbox, shaft drive, aluminum frame, and 240/50 R16 rear tire. The 2024 Storm description also identifies rider aids including lean-angle-sensitive ABS and traction control, throttle maps, cruise control, and four riding modes. Configuration details should be checked against the local-market model-year specification.
Triumph said in its March 28, 2024 announcement that global Rocket sales had exceeded 18,000 since the 2.5-litre engine was introduced in 2019. This is a figure reported by Triumph and attributed in that announcement to Chief Commercial Officer Paul Stroud, not an independent market estimate.

Indian’s official archive establishes that the Sport Chief was a 2024 model, and its media page calls it a performance-oriented version of the Chief. The sources cited here do not provide enough comparable specification detail to make a responsible claim about its engine output, weight, or braking performance relative to the Diavel and Rocket.
Best Value
- Some assembly needed:Front wheel, battery, handlebar, and rearview mirrors.***Kindly be aware that the Manufacturer Statement of Origin (MSO) and Bill of Sale paperwork will be sent to you by separate mail.
- Advanced 200cc EFI engine, With featuring EFI system, the Lifan KPM 200 is able to perform well under any weather condition and at higher altitude
- Upgraded with tubeless 100/80-17 tires in the front and 130/70-17 in the back that grip the road very well.
- 6 Speed mannal transmission allows the engine to run at a lower RPM and save fuel, most effective at highway driving speeds.
That gap matters: a model’s performance-oriented positioning is not itself a measured performance result. A complete comparison would need a regional 2024 manufacturer specification for the exact trim and comparable data for each bike.

Can these be called the ten most extreme?
No complete top-ten list or defensible rank order follows from these sources. Only three candidates are established here, and one lacks enough published comparable data for a specification-based ranking. No independent comparative test results or statistics ranking ten motorcycles are available in the cited material. A broader list would require primary specifications for every model and a stated method for weighing power, torque, weight, chassis, brakes, and equipment.
